Raphael Warnock spent Wednesday on MSNBC telling America that Donald Trump is "not a man of faith."
Now his ex-wife's words are echoing across Georgia again.
The senator who pastors MLK's church just appointed himself Judge of Presidential Souls – and the woman who knows him best already weighed in on camera.
The Senator Who Lives in a Glass Pulpit
Warnock delivered his verdict on Deadline with the confidence of a man whose personal life can withstand scrutiny.
It cannot.
In March 2020, Atlanta police responded to a dispute at Warnock's estranged wife's home.
Ouleye Ndoye looked directly into a police officer's body camera and said her husband is "a great actor" and "phenomenal at putting on a really good show."
She told the officer she had been trying to hide his behavior "for a long time."
That footage aired nationally on Fox News.
Warnock was never charged.
But those words – spoken on camera, to a cop, by a visibly upset woman – don't vanish because no charges were filed.
This is the man now grading Donald Trump's soul on cable television.
The Week He's Been Having
This faith offensive didn't start Wednesday.
Warnock spent the days before questioning whether House Speaker Mike Johnson was a genuine Christian for praying before casting his vote for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
Johnson reached out privately after reading Warnock's New York Times interview.
They met in Johnson's Capitol office.
Johnson called it "productive."
Warnock told reporters they "agreed to disagree" and dismissed Johnson's faith as "very personal and privatistic."
Then he went on Jon Stewart's show and admitted he "puts up with politics" because it occasionally lets him do something worthwhile – treating his Senate seat like a necessary inconvenience.
Then he went on MSNBC and declared Trump running "the most corrupt administration in American history."
Then came the faith verdict.
That is a remarkable week of spiritual judgment from a man his ex-wife called a performer.
When Democrats Discovered the Bible
The left showed no interest in faith-testing presidents when Barack Obama spent eight years in the White House.
They didn't demand theological audits of Joe Biden, who carried a rosary but spent four years dismantling the border and funding abortion overseas.
Now – with Republicans winning, the One Big Beautiful Bill passing, and Georgia trending red – Democrats have suddenly rediscovered that faith is the central issue of American politics.
Warnock told NPR it is "really too bad when my party cedes so much of the faith and values space to those on the right."
Translation: Democrats lost Christian voters badly and they want them back.
This is not a spiritual awakening.
This is a 2026 midterm strategy dressed up in scripture.

At the National Prayer Breakfast this past February, Trump told the room he didn't understand "how a person of faith can vote for a Democrat."
Warnock is now running the identical play from the other side – and counting on voters to forget the 2020 body camera footage.
The Audacity of the Verdict
Here is what Warnock actually said on MSNBC: "There are those who speak of him as if he were the second coming of whatever Donald Trump is. He's not a man of faith. Come on, give me a break. We know better than that."
We know better than that.
The senator who leads the most storied Black congregation in America – who has built his entire political identity on his pastoral credentials – just issued a formal ruling on the state of another man's soul.
While his own ex-wife's words remain on video for anyone to watch.
While he admits he merely "puts up with" the very office he uses to render these judgments.
Tens of millions of American Christians voted for Donald Trump because they believe his policies protect religious liberty, defend the unborn, and stand against an agenda that spent years telling them their faith was hatred.
Raphael Warnock can call that wrong.
He cannot call it faithless from a glass pulpit.
