Adam Schiff told America for years the first Trump impeachment was built on ironclad evidence.
Tulsi Gabbard just released the transcripts Schiff locked in a classified basement in 2019.
The inspector general who started it all just admitted he never actually finished the investigation.
The Trump Impeachment Whistleblower Lied and the Inspector General Knew It
Here is what the newly declassified transcripts show.
The anonymous whistleblower – a registered Democrat who had worked closely with Joe Biden on Ukraine – contacted Adam Schiff's House Intelligence Committee staff before filing his complaint.
Then he left blank the form's question asking whether he had contacted congressional intelligence committees.
That's not an oversight.
That's a lie of omission on a federal disclosure form.
When then-Congressman John Ratcliffe – now CIA Director – pressed Inspector General Michael Atkinson on this in closed-door testimony, Atkinson confirmed it.
The whistleblower hid his coordination with Schiff's team, and Atkinson knew it and kept moving anyway.

Atkinson also knew the whistleblower had no direct knowledge of Trump's private communications.
The complainant wrote it on the form himself: "I do not have direct knowledge of private comments or communications" by the President.
Didn't matter. Atkinson stamped it "credible" and sent it to Congress.
Atkinson Admitted He Never Finished the Trump Impeachment Investigation
This is the part that should make your blood boil.
Atkinson's own words, now declassified: "I haven't done an investigation to determine whether they actually, in fact, took place… that all of the alleged actions actually took place."
He called it a "preliminary investigation."
Under federal law, the inspector general's job was to determine whether the complaint "appears credible."
But Atkinson took that preliminary determination and weaponized it – ignoring Justice Department guidance that the complaint didn't meet the legal definition of "urgent concern," blowing past acting DNI Joseph Maguire who refused to forward it, and going directly to Schiff's committee anyway.

He also interviewed exactly four people before making his determination: the whistleblower, the whistleblower's attorney, and two supporting witnesses – one of whom co-authored the discredited 2017 Russia intelligence assessment.
The same fraudulent document. The same network. The same operation.
The Deep State Network Behind the Russia Hoax Also Built the Impeachment
Gabbard's office confirmed that one of the key witnesses Atkinson used to corroborate the whistleblower report had helped construct the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment on Russian interference – the document Gabbard has said was produced at Barack Obama's direction before Trump took office.
Think about that.
The man who helped manufacture the Russia collusion narrative in 2017 was also a primary corroborating witness for the Ukraine impeachment in 2019.
RealClearInvestigations reported Monday that DOJ sources say these documents are now factoring into an ongoing grand jury investigation into what insiders describe as a coordinated conspiracy by former Obama and Biden officials to illegally target Trump through political espionage.

The whistleblower also told Atkinson's investigators he had been involved in discussions about Ukrainian prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko – the official connected to Burisma and the Biden family's Ukraine business interests.
Atkinson's response? "I never considered the whistleblower to be politically biased."
That's not incompetence.
That's a choice.
Adam Schiff Locked the Evidence in a Capitol Basement for Seven Years
Adam Schiff was chairman of the House Intelligence Committee during both of Atkinson's classified testimony sessions.
Schiff knew the whistleblower had pre-filed contact with his own staff.
Schiff knew the complaint was built on secondhand information.
Schiff knew Atkinson never completed a formal investigation.

He classified the transcripts anyway, kept them sealed for seven years, and impeached a sitting president on the back of them.
Gabbard just handed those transcripts to the American people.
Senator Mark Warner called it a "nothingburger." Congressman Jim Himes called it "dust kicking."
These are the same Democrats who spent three years on television telling you the first impeachment was airtight, the evidence was overwhelming, and anyone who questioned it was defending a criminal.
The documents showing they were wrong have been sitting in a classified facility since October 2019.
