Trump administration isn’t backing down to threats from Democrats
President-elect Donald Trump named former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) director Tom Homan to serve as “Border Czar.”
Homan has the take-no-prisoners attitude needed to carry out the largest mass deportation of illegal aliens in American history.
Democrats Mayors are preparing to resist any attempt by the Trump administration to deport illegal aliens.
Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) threatened to create a “Tiananmen Square moment” by having his city’s police battle ICE agents trying to apprehend illegal aliens.
Homan had a “clear message” for Mayors who wanted to stop the federal government from deporting illegal aliens during an appearance on Fox News.
“You’ve got San Diego writing legislation. You’ve got Colorado and other states and other cities saying they’re going to prevent us doing what I’m doing,” Homan said. “I want to send a clear message.”
He warned them that they were risking their communities’ safety to harbor illegal aliens.
“If you let us in the jail, we can arrest the bad guy in the jail and in the safety and security of the jail,” Homan explained. “One officer could do that, but when you release a public safety threat back into the community, you put the community at risk. You put my officers at risk. You put the alien at risk.”
“Here’s what’s going to happen – you release that guy in the community, I’m going to send an entire team to go look for the guy in your community,” Homan continued. “And what’s going to happen? We’ll find that guy. And when we find that guy, there’s probably going to be others that are not a priority.”
Democrat plans will backfire on them
Illegal aliens who’ve committed crimes are at the top of the list to be deported.
Homan warned Democrats that ICE officials will apprehend every illegal alien they come into contact with if they try to protect criminals.
“However, if they’re in the country illegally, they’ll be arrested, too, because we’re not going to tell an immigration officer like this [Biden] administration did, that you’re going to turn your back on an illegal immigrant,” Homan explained. “When you’re an immigration officer, you have an oath to uphold, so you are forcing us into the community in large numbers where other non-priority aliens will be arrested.”
“That’s the exact result you don’t want, so let us in the jail. It’s safer for everybody,” Homan added.
Fox News host Maria Bartiromo noted a report from the New York Post that revealed there are at least 58,000 illegal aliens who are members of violent gangs roaming around New York City.
Homan revealed that number is low because there are more who haven’t shown up on law enforcement’s radar.
The “Border Czar” vowed that violent illegal alien gangs like Tren de Aragua and MS-13 would be a top priority.
“As far as Tren de Aragua, they’re going to be a major priority of the Trump administration,” Homan said. “President Trump has made that promise. And we will be concentrating on them right out of the gate, them, MS-13 and other criminal elements.”
The tide is going to turn against illegal aliens when Donald Trump takes the Oath of Office in January.
