Trump captured a narco-terrorist dictator and hauled him to New York in handcuffs.
Russia and China watched their Venezuelan puppet vanish overnight.
And Trump just sent Russia and China one message they can't ignore after Maduro fell.
Trump's Maduro Raid Rewrites the Rules
U.S. forces grabbed Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores from their presidential palace in Caracas over the weekend.
Delta Force operators working with CIA intelligence snatched the Venezuelan dictator while explosions rocked the capital and helicopters hovered overhead.
Maduro landed in Manhattan on Monday and pleaded not guilty to narco-terrorism charges in federal court.
Moscow, Beijing, and Tehran immediately condemned the operation as a violation of international law.
But Trump wasn't taking their calls about what America can and cannot do in its own backyard.
Drug Cartels and Their Allies Just Got the Memo
Retired Navy Vice Admiral Robert Harward knows what message Trump just sent to America's enemies.
Harward served as a Navy SEAL and member of President George W. Bush's National Security Council.
Trump's decisive takedown of Maduro marks a complete shift from the Obama administration's pathetic "red lines" in Syria that nobody took seriously.
"We said a red line three times, if you do chemicals, we're going to do this," Harward told Fox News Digital.
"Every time they raced past those red lines, and we followed through with no actions."
Obama drew meaningless lines in the sand while dictators and terrorists ignored him.
Trump draws lines and enforces them with military force.
"If you're going to come here and mess in our backyards, we're going to address that," Harward explained.
"That's probably one of the most critical components of this Venezuelan operation. He set the policy, he reinforced it with his words, and then they acted."
The message isn't just for governments allied with our adversaries.
Drug cartels throughout the Western Hemisphere just learned Trump will hunt them down anywhere.
"Don't forget this started out taking out the drug boats, going after the supply side of drugs, not just for the damage it had to our people in our country, but also for the control they've had in these countries," Harward said.
Trump's Monroe Doctrine Remake Threatens Russia and China
Trump invoked the Monroe Doctrine during his Mar-a-Lago press conference after Maduro's capture.
He even dubbed it the "Donroe Doctrine" to emphasize his personal stamp on American dominance in the Western Hemisphere.
The 19th-century policy warned European powers to stay out of the Americas.
Trump's version warns Russia, China, and Iran that their influence in Latin America is over.
Maduro maintained close ties with all three countries while they propped up his narco-terrorist regime.
All three adversaries condemned Maduro's capture and demanded his release.
Their protests fell on deaf ears because Trump just proved he doesn't care what Moscow, Beijing, or Tehran think.
Harward predicts other countries will increase cooperation with American efforts to stop drug smugglers before they reach U.S. soil.
"We've been in interdicting drugs coming not just out of Venezuela, but the rest of South America at sea for years, maybe there's gonna be closer interdiction monitoring inside those countries, cooperation where we're watching the ports," Harward stated.
Trump's crackdown on narcotics coincides with renewed focus on border security after the disaster of the Biden years.
Drug overdose deaths spiked under Biden before dropping back toward Trump first-term levels.
"The fall begins at the end of the Biden administration, but the question is, was it in anticipation of a tough on crime president coming in?" retired NYPD Sergeant Joseph Giacalone asked.
"Securing the borders has a lot to do with the drop as well, less chance for drug dealers and their mules to bring drugs into the country."
The Global Order Just Shifted
Maduro's arrest goes far beyond Venezuela's borders or even the drug trade.
Countries allied with our adversaries or trying to play both sides just learned their strategy won't work anymore.
Trump's willing to act decisively against any nation that threatens American interests.
Iran faces massive internal protests and an unstable regime.
If the theocracy collapses this year as many experts predict, our adversaries lose another key ally.
"We really have altered the world order, not just for those regions, but for those proxies — the few allies they had in the world are being decimated," Harward explained.
"And at the same time, it sends a clear message to those countries that are on the fence, trying to keep a foot in both camps."
They watched Trump grab their Venezuelan puppet and parade him through Manhattan in handcuffs.
They know Cuba could be next since Trump already said the communist regime is "ready to fall."
Trump threatened Mexico and Colombia could face similar operations if they don't crack down on cartels.
The days of America tolerating hostile regimes in the region are over.
Russia, China, and Iran can protest all they want about international law.
Trump just proved the only law that matters in America's backyard is the one he enforces.
