Ilhan Omar's long history of defending Somalia while attacking America finally caught up with her.
Trump just connected her to the biggest welfare fraud scandal in state history.
And Trump demanded Ilhan Omar be jailed or deported after Minnesota fraud explosion reaches $19 billion.
Trump Truth Social Post Calls for Omar Deportation to Somalia
President Donald Trump unloaded on Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar in a late-night Truth Social post that has the Left in full panic mode.
"There is 19 Billion Dollars in Minnesota Somalia Fraud," Trump declared Sunday night.
"Fake 'Congresswoman' Illhan Omar, a constant complainer who hates the USA, knows everything there is to know."
Then Trump dropped the hammer.
"She should be in jail, or even a worse punishment, sent back to Somalia, considered one of the absolutely worst countries in the World," Trump wrote.
"She could help to MAKE SOMALIA GREAT AGAIN!"
Omar became a U.S. citizen in 2000 after fleeing Somalia as a child during the civil war.
But Trump's putting her citizenship status under the microscope as federal investigators expose the depth of fraud in Minnesota's Somali community.
Feeding Our Future Scandal Links Somali Community to $19 Billion Welfare Fraud
Trump's not making wild accusations here.
Federal prosecutors already convicted 57 people in what they called the largest COVID-19 fraud scheme in American history.
The Feeding Our Future scandal involved $250 million stolen from programs meant to feed children.
Salim Ahmed Said ran Safari Restaurant where Omar held her 2018 victory party.
He got convicted in March after prosecutors proved he lied about serving 5,000 meals daily to pocket millions in federal funds.
Said bought a $2 million Minneapolis mansion and burned through $9,000 every month at Nordstrom while claiming he fed hungry children.
He also managed voter turnout for Omar's 2018 and 2020 campaigns in the Somali community.
Omar introduced the 2020 MEALS Act that made this kind of fraud possible.
She returned campaign donations from charged fraudsters years later—but only after prosecutors indicted them.
Last summer, prosecutors warned the total fraud could top $1 billion.
Now they're saying half of the $18 billion in federal funds supporting 14 Minnesota programs since 2018 may have been looted.
That's not a rounding error—that's systematic theft from American taxpayers.
Minneapolis ICE Protests Mirror Portland Antifa Playbook as Omar Allies Face Charges
Remember Portland in 2020 when Antifa burned down federal buildings and Democrats called it peaceful protest?
Minneapolis is following that same script.
Federal agents are trying to deport violent criminals, and Omar's constituents are blocking the streets and attacking ICE officers.
"ICE is removing some of the most violent criminals in the World from our Country, and bring them back home, where they belong," Trump wrote in another Truth Social post.
"Why is Minnesota fighting this?"
Trump knows exactly why.
"The crooked Governor and 'Congresswoman' Omar, who married her brother, don't mind because it keeps the focus of attention off the 18 Billion Dollar, Plus, FRAUD, that has taken place in the State," Trump wrote.
The protests serve a purpose—distract from the investigation by creating chaos around ICE enforcement.
It's the same tactic Keith Ellison used when he posed with an Antifa handbook in 2018.
Create enough noise about Trump targeting immigrants, and maybe investigators will back off the fraud probe.
Trump's not backing off.
Trump Denaturalization Program Targets Citizenship Revocation for Immigration Fraud
Here's what has Omar really worried.
The Trump administration just launched the most aggressive denaturalization program in modern American history.
The New York Times obtained internal guidance showing U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services wants field offices sending 100 to 200 citizenship revocation cases monthly to the Justice Department.
That's a twentyfold increase over the historical average of 11 cases annually.
Stephen Miller's driving the policy with zero tolerance for fraud during the naturalization process.
The Justice Department's June 2025 memo made denaturalization one of the Civil Division's "top five enforcement priorities."
Prosecutors are targeting naturalized citizens suspected of lying about their immigration history.
Omar obtained citizenship in 2000, but questions about her immigration story have dogged her for years.
The allegations that she married her brother Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2009 to commit immigration fraud never went away.
She admitted the marriage but refuses to release documents proving Elmi isn't her brother.
If prosecutors find evidence Omar lied during her naturalization process, she's looking at citizenship revocation and deportation.
Trump already said he's "absolutely" willing to denaturalize citizens who commit fraud.
Border Czar Tom Homan told Newsmax in December that investigators are examining Omar's immigration history.
He said anyone convicted of immigration fraud will be deported.
Omar "US Goddamn States" Comment Sealed Her Fate With Trump Base
Omar handed Trump the perfect ammunition when she lost her temper at a Democratic field hearing in St. Paul.
"The one place where we thought we would never experience this, is the US goddamn states," Omar said.
"And we should all be ashamed that it is the United States that is allowing for this to take place."
GOP Senator Mike Lee asked what the consequence should be for a member of Congress calling America the "US goddamn states."
Elon Musk replied: "Whatever the penalty is for treason."
That comment crystalized everything Trump's been saying about Omar for years.
She came to America as a refugee, became a citizen, got elected to Congress—and spends every day attacking the country that gave her everything.
Trump's 65+ conservative base sees that and their blood boils.
They escaped communist regimes or built this country from nothing, and they can't stand watching someone trash America while living off its generosity.
Omar keeps defending Somalia's territorial claims while opposing recognition of stable Somaliland.
She refers to Somalia as her "home" in Somali-language speeches, not America.
"Ilhan Omar left Somalia, but Somalia never left her," said Michael Rubin of the American Enterprise Institute.
Trump's making it clear: if you hate America that much, Somalia's waiting for you.
