Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift became the most talked about celebrity couple in the country last year.
She became a fixture at Chiefs games, cheering him on as the team won its second straight Super Bowl in February.
Kelce spent the offseason traveling to Europe to attend Swift’s concerts on her record-breaking Eras Tour on the continent.
The Chiefs star’s fame went to the next level after he started dating the pop star.
He spent the NFL season filming a bit part in the FX horror series Grotesquerie and served as the host of the Amazon Prime Video game show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity.
The 35-year-old tight end got off to a slow start this NFL season after he held without a touchdown catch until the seventh game of the season.
Former ESPN NFL Insider accused Kelce of being out of shape this season because he spent the offseason partying with Swift around the globe.
“It’s like, are we not allowed to say that he’s out of shape? That he’s been partying all offseason?” McShay said on the Ryen Russillo podcast. “He’s been jet-setting around with the most famous person, probably in the entire world. That he’s drinking, going to the U.S. Open, he’s got cocktails in.”
Swift skipped some of her boyfriend’s NFL games this season after she was a near-constant presence last year, which led to speculation there could be trouble in paradise.

Travis Kelce broke his silence about his relationship with Swift during an episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother Jason.
Actress Niecy Nash, who starred in Grotesquerie with Travis, was their guest on the show.
She told them that she had gotten text messages asking about what was happening with Kelce and Swift’s relationship.
But Nash told them her lips were sealed about what was happening with the love birds.
“I appreciate you always,” Travis said. “And every time someone has a mic in front of you and asks you something like that, thank you for always showing love.”
“You know it’s real,” Travis added. “And you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy, and I appreciate you always making sure that everybody knows that.”

Nash noted that Travis loved to eat when he was on the set of the show.
“It’s one thing to be like ‘hey can someone run out to get me a burger’, which you did a few times. But then I saw you eating again and I asked where it came from and you responded: ‘My chef prepared this for me,’” Nash recalled.
She noted that he was eating every time that she saw him.
Travis tried to play it off as a nutrition plan but admitted that he was “just making stuff” to look good.
All is well for Travis Kelce though, as his NFL production started to pick up this season and everything is going well with his relationship.
