Tim Burchett Says Holy Crap Is Coming and the Pentagon Just Confirmed It

May 22, 2026

The Pentagon spent decades hiding what it knew about UFOs from the American public.

Now Trump is tearing the vault open – and one congressman says what comes next will change everything.

Tim Burchett already told you the first drop was nothing compared to what's behind it.

What the First Batch Actually Contained

On May 8, the Trump administration posted what the Pentagon called "never-before-seen" classified UAP files at war.gov/UFO – 120 PDFs, 28 videos, and 14 image files covering more than 400 documented incidents stretching from the 1940s through last year.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth put it plainly: classified documents had long fueled justified public suspicion, and it was time Americans saw them for themselves.

The first batch included photographs from the Apollo 12 and Apollo 17 lunar missions showing unexplained objects with no official explanation.

It included a 1965 Gemini 7 transcript where astronaut Frank Borman reported spotting a "brilliant body" with "trillions of particles" moving past his window – logged, classified, buried for 60 years.

It included FBI photographs showing two black dots operating in the same airspace as U.S. military aircraft on New Year's Eve 1999.

It included military reports of UAPs over Iraq, Syria, the Mediterranean, and the Indo-Pacific – objects making 90-degree turns at 80 miles per hour, triangular metallic craft at 25,000 feet, objects that vanished in seconds.

These aren't grainy hoaxes from a paranormal website.

These are government documents, classified by previous administrations, now public because Trump ordered it.

Burchett Has Seen What Comes Next

Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., has spent years fighting the intelligence community's wall of silence.

In April – a full month before the first drop even happened – he appeared on Newsmax after receiving a classified briefing and told host Rob Finnerty exactly where things stood.

"I was briefed – I'll just tell you this – I was briefed last week on an issue, or excuse me, two weeks ago, and it would've set the earth on – this country would've come unglued, I think, if they would've heard all that I'd heard," he said.

That was before May 8.

After the first release, he went further: "The 1st drop will be big but in comparison to what is coming they will be a drop in the bucket. I would say 'Holy Crap' is coming."

Burchett has argued the cover-up traces back to at least 1947.

He's the lawmaker who moved to eliminate AARO – the Pentagon's UAP investigation office – because he concluded it existed not to find answers, but to absorb congressional pressure while the real programs stayed buried above it.

He's also said that unelected bureaucrats inside closed-door briefings told him the president himself is kept on a need-to-know basis about what the government actually knows.

When Burchett says what comes next dwarfs the first release, that's coming from someone sitting in the classified briefings.

The Machine Is Already Running

Chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed Monday that the second batch is actively being processed.

"More to come very soon," Parnell posted on social media.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard described a "comprehensive" multi-agency declassification program already underway.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed the bureau is standing alongside the interagency partners in what he called a "landmark release."

Trump framed the contrast himself: previous administrations failed to be transparent, and now the people could decide for themselves what the hell was going on.

That's the comparison that matters.

Biden's team installed Sean Kirkpatrick as AARO director, denied him access to the actual compartmentalized programs above his office, then pointed to his clean denials as proof nothing existed.

Trump built a portal at war.gov/UFO, bound every relevant agency to participate, and instructed the Pentagon to release tranches every few weeks – no security clearance required.

They Hid It Because They Could Get Away With It

Consider what the Gemini 7 transcript alone represents.

Frank Borman reported unexplained objects to mission control in 1965.

The government logged it, stamped it classified, and filed it away for six decades.

Anyone who asked was told there was nothing to see.

Burchett's case is that this wasn't bureaucratic negligence – it was architecture, built on compartmentalization modeled after the Manhattan Project, designed so that even presidents were kept at arm's length from programs the defense contractor world controlled.

Trump is the first president to actually break that structure open – not through a task force the Pentagon could stonewall, not through a congressional hearing where agencies send prepared non-answers, but through a direct presidential order binding every department with no escape hatch.

The second drop is coming in June.

And if Tim Burchett – the man who told Newsmax the full truth would make this country come unglued – says the first release was a drop in the bucket, that's worth taking seriously.
