Sylvester Stallone had one message about Donald Trump that Hollywood will hate

Nov 19, 2024

There’s been a shift in the culture about publicly supporting Donald Trump.

More and more people are coming out of the woodwork to back the President-elect.

And Sylvester Stallone had one message about Donald Trump that Hollywood will hate.

Sylvester Stallone heaps praise on Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago event

The America First Policy Institute held its gala at President-elect Donald Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago in West Palm Beach, Florida.

It was attended by Trump, most of his cabinet nominees, and luminaries like Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Rocky star Sylvester Stallone made a surprise appearance at the black-tie event to give a speech introducing Trump.

“When I made Rocky, the first image was a picture of Jesus, and it said, ‘Resurrection, AC Club,’” Stallone began. “I found a church that had been converted into a boxing ring. The image pans from Jesus to Rocky being hit, and in that moment, he was the chosen person. That’s how I began the journey. Just like President Trump.”

Stallone compared Trump to a mythological figure after the obstacles he overcame to win the election.

“Something was going to happen,” Stallone explained. “This man was going to go through a metamorphosis and change lives, just like President Trump. We are in the presence of a really mythical character. I love mythology. And this individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I’m in awe.”

“When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was going to change the world. Without him, you could imagine what the world would look like. Guess what? We got the second George Washington. Congratulations,” Stallone concluded.

A grateful Trump joined the actor on stage before he gave his speech.

Stallone had kept mum about his politics before his speech at the America First Policy Institute gala.

There was a shift in the culture during this Presidential election with more people willing to defy cancel culture and declare their support of the President-elect.

Athletes and entertainers don’t fear the backlash from the woke outrage mob anymore for going public about backing Trump.

Donald Trump makes his first public remarks after the election

Trump has been hard at work on his Presidential transition and nominating people to staff his administration.

His speech at the gala was his first public remark since declaring victory on election night.

The President-elect touted his victory after winning the popular vote and singled out some of his cabinet nominees for praise.

“They would say, ‘he didn’t win the popular vote.’ And we won the popular vote by records now, which so nobody can say that anymore about us,” Trump declared.

Trump highlighted Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy for their work on the Department of Government Efficiency.

“They’re going to be saving a lot of money and making our country stronger and better,” Trump said. “And they’ll be coming out with individual reports. But a big one toward the end. And you put those two together, it’s going to be really great. So we look forward to seeing and working with Elon and that’ll be a great experience.”

Donald Trump is building a strong team around him to help him carry out his agenda.
