Sydney Sweeney keeps proving she's not your typical Hollywood actress.
The left can't stand watching her succeed.
And Sydney Sweeney delivered one speech at NASCAR that sent woke Hollywood into a meltdown.
Hollywood's been trying to cancel Sydney Sweeney for months now.
The Euphoria star became the target of liberal rage after reports emerged that she registered as a Republican in Florida last June.¹
That revelation came after months of the woke mob attacking Sweeney for daring to exist as a blonde, attractive actress who doesn't apologize for her success.
They went after her American Eagle jeans campaign with accusations of "white supremacy" because the ads made a pun about having "great genes."²
President Trump defended Sweeney when the attacks escalated, calling her a "registered Republican" with the "hottest ad out there."³
Vice President JD Vance mocked Democrats for their hysteria, saying "my political advice to the Democrats is continue to tell everybody who thinks Sydney Sweeney is attractive is a Nazi."⁴
Now Sweeney just sent another message that she won't bow to Hollywood's woke mob.
Sydney Sweeney fires up NASCAR Championship crowd
The 27-year-old actress appeared at NASCAR's Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona.⁵
Sweeney took the stage with a checkered flag in hand and delivered a powerful speech to the four drivers competing for the championship: William Byron, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson, and Chase Briscoe.
She connected her upcoming role as legendary boxer Christy Martin to the grit NASCAR champions need to win.
"Most days, this checkered flag means victory, but today, it means something more," Sweeney told the crowd. "A dream realized, a life changed, a name that will never be forgotten."⁶
"In my new film Christy, I play a warrior. A fighter who refused to quit," Sweeney continued. "Christy is about grit, about determination – the same spirit that it takes to make it to the Championship Four."⁷
She closed with a message that captured what separates champions from everyone else.
"So, to our future champion, remember what this flag stands for. You're not just another driver, you're a NASCAR champion," Sweeney stated.⁸
The speech hit the perfect tone for NASCAR's audience – proud Americans who appreciate hard work, determination, and success without apology.
Sweeney showed up dressed for the occasion in a racing jacket, boots, and shorts.⁹
She posed for photos with drivers and soaked in the atmosphere at one of motorsports' biggest events.
Kyle Larson went on to win his second career Cup Series championship despite not leading a single lap during the race.¹⁰
Hollywood star embraces American culture
The NASCAR appearance is just the latest example of Sweeney refusing to follow Hollywood's script.
While most young actresses desperately seek approval from the coastal elite gatekeepers, Sweeney keeps showing up at events that celebrate traditional American culture.
NASCAR fans skew older, conservative, and patriotic – exactly the audience woke Hollywood tries to alienate with their constant preaching.
Sweeney appearing at Phoenix Raceway and delivering a speech about American grit and determination is the kind of thing that makes liberals' heads explode.
They can't understand why anyone would want to connect with regular Americans instead of virtue-signaling at some Hollywood awards show.
The Christy film Sweeney promoted during her speech tells the story of pioneering female boxer Christy Martin.¹¹
Martin rose to become the most well-known female boxer of the 1990s and survived a murder attempt by her husband in 2010.¹²
Sweeney underwent an intense physical transformation for the role, gaining 30 pounds of muscle through months of boxing and weight training.¹³
The movie premieres nationwide on November 7 after debuting at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.¹⁴
Sweeney also recently opened up about navigating Hollywood's constant scrutiny in an interview with Variety.
"I play a lot of very divisive characters, and I think that a lot of people think they know me, but they don't," Sweeney explained.¹⁵
"So when people think, 'Ah, she's a sex symbol,' or 'She's leaning into that,' I'm like, 'No, I just feel good, and I'm doing it for myself and I feel strong,'" she added.¹⁶
That confidence to be herself regardless of what the woke mob demands is exactly what makes liberals so furious.
Liberal Hollywood keeps losing ground
Sydney Sweeney represents something Hollywood can't control – an actress who refuses to apologize for success or bow to progressive pressure.
The attacks on her American Eagle campaign backfired spectacularly when conservatives rallied behind her.
Her registration as a Republican confirmed what many suspected – she's not buying what Hollywood's selling.
Now she's showing up at NASCAR races and delivering speeches about determination and American grit.
Every appearance like this sends a message that there's an alternative to the woke nonsense dominating entertainment.
Look, regular Americans are tired of celebrities who hate them. Sweeney shows up at a NASCAR race and the left loses their minds.
She's built a massive career without begging for approval from the Hollywood gatekeepers. That's what really drives them crazy.
The Meryl Streeps and George Clooneys of the world used to decide who got to be famous. Not anymore.
Sweeney chose NASCAR fans over the Oscars crowd. And there's not a damn thing the coastal elites can do about it.
