Sunny Hostin Said She Would Vote for the Democrat John Fetterman Called a Nazi Sympathizer

Jun 7, 2026

Democrats spent years calling Trump voters Nazis.

Now their own Senate candidate is the one with the Nazi tattoo.

And Sunny Hostin just told America she'd vote for him anyway.

The Scandals Democrats Are Choosing to Ignore

Graham Platner is the presumptive Democrat nominee in Maine's Senate race against Republican Susan Collins.

He carried a tattoo on his chest for nearly two decades that resembled the Nazi SS Totenkopf skull and crossbones – the insignia worn by concentration camp guards.

He claims he didn't know.

His own Reddit history contradicts that claim.

A CNN investigation found deleted posts in which Platner discussed the Totenkopf symbol directly – suggesting he knew exactly what it meant when he had it inked on his body.

There's more.

Platner posted on Reddit that a wounded American soldier who survived a Taliban ambush "didn't deserve to live."

He used Kik – a platform notorious for enabling the distribution of child sexual abuse material – to send explicit messages to at least six women while married.

His wife discovered the texts and flagged them to his own campaign.

He also posted about masturbating in public and wrote comments suggesting sexual assault victims share responsibility for what happened to them.

This is the man Sunny Hostin declared she would vote for.

"If I lived in Maine, I would hold my nose and I would pull that lever and vote for him," Hostin said on The View. "That's it."

When Fetterman Is the Voice of Reason, Democrats Have a Problem

Co-host Sara Haines pushed back hard.

"We have too many crappy people with no character, no integrity in D.C.," Haines said. "We can't plug our nose and send someone there that's an antisemitic person, racist, bigoted, sexist."

Even The View couldn't fully swallow it.

But the most memorable reaction in Washington came from Senator John Fetterman – the Pennsylvania Democrat who wears hoodies on the Senate floor.

"When I was growing up, if someone had a Nazi tattoo, you pretty much assume he's a Nazi sympathizer," Fetterman told reporters.

Then he added: "This a**hole is on Kik and sexting to a dozen women."

A sitting Democrat senator called his own party's Senate nominee an a**hole and a Nazi sympathizer.

In what world is that a path to November?

The Rules Were Never About Character

The party that spent eight years screaming about norms and decency is now watching its own TV hosts explain why those things don't actually matter when a Senate seat is on the line.

Elizabeth Warren already endorsed Platner – calling him "the real deal" – after spending years warning that Pete Hegseth's Christian tattoos made him a potential "threat."

She had no problem with the Nazi skull tattoo.

Hostin made the underlying logic explicit on live television.

"Democrats have to take over the Senate," she said. "They have to bring some semblance of normalcy back to this government."

She used the word "normalcy" – while defending a candidate John Fetterman called a Nazi sympathizer and a creeper on a platform used to distribute child sexual abuse material.

The rules were never about character.

They were about power.

Democrats built their brand on being the party of decency, of women, of veterans.

Platner mocked a wounded Purple Heart recipient as someone who "didn't deserve to live," sexted women behind his wife's back on a predator's platform, and wore a Nazi insignia on his chest for nearly two decades.

Hostin told the country she'd vote for him anyway.

Maine voters should remember that in November.
