Stephen Miller Posted Two Words on July 4 and the Left Completely Lost Their Minds

Jul 11, 2026

The man who said Democrats wanted to turn every American city into Mogadishu built the toughest border in a generation.

Now those same Democrats are calling him dangerous for what he posted on the Fourth of July.

You need to see what two words did to the entire liberal media establishment.

The Left Forgot What Divine Providence Actually Means

Here's what Miller wrote, in full: "It is impossible to review the events of the last decade and conclude that it is anything other than divine providence that Donald J. Trump is the President of the United States on the year of America 250, July 4th, 2026."

That's it.

That's the statement that has MSNBC in meltdown and Bill Kristol – who still somehow has a platform – writing that Miller was "trying to give divine providence a bad name."

Here's what these people conveniently forgot.

Ronald Reagan, in 1980, called divine providence the reason for America's founding.

George Washington credited God's providence for victory in the Revolutionary War in his very first inaugural address.

When both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on the Fourth of July – exactly 50 years after the Declaration of Independence – Americans at the time called it a divine sign.

This is not new.

This is not extreme.

This is American history.

The Left Never Had a Problem With This Language Before

After the 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, Senator Marco Rubio said plainly: "God protected Donald Trump."

Evangelist Franklin Graham preached to his congregation that the attempt was "a demonstration of the power of almighty God."

Trump himself posted to Truth Social: "It was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening."

Millions of Americans heard that and nodded.

Nobody at CNN called it dangerous then.

But Stephen Miller posts two sentences on the Fourth of July and suddenly it's a constitutional crisis.

The pattern here isn't Miller going too far.

The pattern is the left only objecting to religious language when it comes from someone winning.

The Man Earned the Right to Say It

Stephen Miller didn't just tweet about divine providence from a desk somewhere.

He built the policy infrastructure that turned a chaotic southern border into a genuine national security operation.

He called Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem multiple times a day to drive execution of the deportation agenda.

When Democrat cities tried to block ICE operations, Miller was the one telling agents they had federal immunity and that anyone obstructing them was committing a felony.

He pushed the administration's birthright citizenship challenge all the way to the Supreme Court.

He oversaw the immigration executive orders that defined Trump's second term before the president's first week was finished.

The left wants you to dismiss this as the ramblings of a loyalist.

What it actually is, is the most effective immigration enforcement architect in American history surveying a decade of improbable victories and drawing the only conclusion that makes sense to him.

The Numbers They Won't Bring Up

Trump won 84% of the white evangelical Protestant vote in 2020 – a group representing roughly one-fifth of all American voters – and those voters have talked about his presidency in explicitly divine terms since his first election.

Former Energy Secretary Rick Perry called Trump God's "chosen one" on Fox News back in 2019.

Pastor Robert Jeffress preached it to his Dallas congregation the morning after someone tried to kill Trump at Butler.

Ben Carson said after the assassination attempt: "They tried to bankrupt him. They tried to slander him. They tried to imprison him. Now they have tried to kill him. But if God is protecting him, they will never succeed."

Charlie Kirk credited the Holy Spirit itself with the gust of wind that moved Trump's head at the exact right moment.

And he's the one being called delusional for writing two sentences on X.

The people mocking this post have never once explained how a man survived everything the system threw at him – indictments across four separate cases, two impeachments, a bullet that grazed his ear by a fraction of an inch – and came back to win in a landslide on America's 250th birthday.

They don't have an answer.

Miller does.
