Soros-Funded Group Just Got Caught Distributing Political Revolution Training Manual in K-12 Schools

Feb 13, 2026

George Soros pumped at least $2 million into a group that threw Molotov cocktails at cops during the 2023 Atlanta police training facility attacks.

That same organization is now operating inside America's schools.

Defending Education just exposed a 25-page training manual telling students to spark a "political revolution" through monthly classroom walkouts and mass disruptions.

Sunrise Movement Training Manual Exposed by Defending Education Report

The document doesn't hide its agenda.

Students are instructed to engage in "mass non-cooperation" designed to prove America cannot function without their resistance.

The guidebook frames the country as a "regime" and a "system captured by billionaires" that must be dismantled.

"We're here to win a political revolution," the manual states. "This is your guide to start winning at your school right now."

Kindergartners get taught about "power imbalances."

First graders must identify "examples of ethnicity, equality, liberation and systems of power."

By middle and high school, they're organizing walkouts and what the manual calls "bigger, more creative disruptions."

The goal isn't better grades – it's revolution.

Sunrise Movement ICE Protests Target Minnesota Schools

Trump's immigration enforcement put Sunrise Movement into overdrive.

The training materials call ICE an "occupying army" and Trump's "personal gestapo."

In early 2026, Sunrise launched the "ICE Out For Good" campaign using drums, whistles, and horns outside hotels housing federal agents in Minneapolis.

A January 18, 2026 coordination call included slides declaring "Trump is experimenting on Minnesota: How far can he take his authoritarian agenda?"

Their goals: "Flex our power now to kick ICE out of Minnesota" and "Build long-term student power in schools here and across the country."

One proposed action involved a "mass buy and return" at Target stores – economic sabotage through retail disruption.

Organizers are building toward May Day 2026, when they plan to mobilize millions of students and workers to "disrupt business as usual."

George Soros Antifa Funding Connection: $2 Million to Sunrise Movement

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan raised alarms about Sunrise Movement in November over its Antifa connections.

In a letter to Soros' Open Society Foundations, the committee wrote that Open Society donated at least $2 million to Sunrise Movement – a group that "endorsed and solicited financial support for the Antifa-associated anarchist terrorists of the Stop Cop City / Defend the Atlanta Forest coalition."

Those Stop Cop City activists threw Molotov cocktails at police during attacks on a law enforcement training facility construction site near Atlanta.

Prosecutors charged more than 40 individuals with domestic terrorism.

The Capital Research Center documented Soros' Open Society Foundations funneling over $80 million to groups tied to terrorism or extremist violence since 2016.

Trump designated Antifa a domestic terrorist organization in September 2025 and discussed with Attorney General Pam Bondi bringing RICO charges against organizations and their donors funding the violence.

Sunrise Movement's school organizing isn't grassroots youth activism – it's a well-funded operation with documented ties to violent extremists now targeting children.

How Green New Deal Activists Infiltrated K-12 Education

This ideology followed a clear path into schools.

Ethnic Studies programs grew out of 1968 San Francisco State student strikes that created the grievance studies corrupting universities today.

Over the last five years, activists pushed these programs into K-12 education in California, Washington, Oregon, and Vermont.

Minnesota's 2023 law – signed by Governor Tim Walz – requires districts to offer ethnic studies at high schools by 2026-27 and elementary/middle schools by 2027-28.

That law opened the door for groups like Sunrise Movement to distribute training materials through official channels.

The manual instructs students on tactical recruitment – how to organize homerooms, sports teams, and campus clubs.

It teaches them to exploit "trigger moments" – unforeseen crises or tragedies – to spark mass outrage and absorb new members.

Students learn to view themselves as soldiers fighting "pillars holding up the regime."

While claiming commitment to nonviolence, the ultimate goals include radical economic overhaul: a "political party of workers and students," federal jobs guarantee, and Green New Deal.

Parents Kept in the Dark

Supporting organizations read like a who's who of the radical left: Higher Education Labor United, American Association of University Professors, Jewish Voice for Peace, and Socialist Alternative.

These aren't parent-teacher associations.

They're activist organizations using schools as recruitment centers.

"It's deeply concerning that an outside organization operating clubs inside K-12 schools is training children to help bring about a 'political revolution,'" Rhyen Staley, director of Research at Defending Education, told Fox News Digital.

"Parents and teachers should be appalled that the group is encouraging regular disruptions to the learning environment to advance their far-left cause, costing students valuable educational opportunities and time in the classroom."

The training happens inside schools during regular hours, often with administrator approval, while parents remain unaware their kids are being taught to view America as an oppressive regime.

School boards approve "climate education" or "civic engagement" programs without examining the actual materials.

By the time parents discover what's taught, their kids have spent months absorbing anti-American propaganda disguised as social justice education.

Radical Training Materials Spreading Across U.S. Schools

Defending Education has documented similar materials at schools nationwide – from Portland State's "Teacher as Activist" courses to University of Pennsylvania's "Activism Beyond the Classroom" graduate programs.

Teacher training programs ensure the next generation of educators arrives in classrooms already indoctrinated.

A 2025 Defending Education report on the University of Minnesota found the institution building classroom materials themed around Black Lives Matter, George Floyd, "radical capitalism," and "settler colonialism."

The pattern is clear: radical groups develop ideology in universities, teacher colleges spread it to educators, and organizations like Sunrise Movement provide tactical training to turn students into activists.

The Sunrise training manual explicitly states "We're here to win a political revolution" – yet school administrators continue allowing these groups access to children.
