The Pentagon spent decades hiding files on UFOs while telling the American people there was nothing to see.
Trump ripped those files open in May – and now Ukrainian scientists say they know exactly where the objects are coming from.
What they found on the moon will make you question everything the government told you.
Disc-Shaped Objects the Size of Manhattan Moving at Four Miles Per Second
Scientists at Ukraine's Main Astronomical Observatory published a study this week describing what they observed during multiple telescope sessions in 2025.
Using a high-speed camera that snapped 20 frames per second, the team tracked more than 20 unidentified objects moving near and across the lunar surface.
Some were disc-shaped.
Some measured between 15 and 25 miles across – roughly the length of Manhattan.
The researchers divided the sightings into two categories: "atmospheric" objects that moved in lockstep with the moon as if anchored to it, and "continental" objects that appeared to cross its surface at speed.
One of those continental objects reportedly covered nearly 14 miles at 4.1 miles per second.
The ring-shaped objects spotted on August 16, 2025 were even stranger – an estimated 22 miles across, completing a full rotation every three minutes, moving at 6.8 miles per second.
The researchers calculated that the rotation rate alone would generate outward force roughly twice the pull of Earth's gravity – suggesting the possibility of artificial gravity onboard.
Two objects reportedly flashed in synchronized patterns while hundreds of miles apart.
The team's conclusion: "UFOs are observed on Earth and in near-Earth space. We believe that the moon serves as a base for UFOs."
They added that the objects could reach Earth within 20 minutes and appear in our atmosphere as UAPs.
Why the Government Can No Longer Simply Tell You to Ignore This
Here's what separates August 2026 from every prior UFO moment.
For decades, the standard government response was to stonewall, minimize, and hope the public got bored.

Pete Hegseth's Pentagon followed through on May 8, launching a government website called PURSUE – the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters – and dropping the first batch of never-before-seen files: videos, photographs, astronaut transcripts, military memos, and declassified documents dating back to 1944.

Those files included an Apollo 17 photograph showing three lights in triangular formation above the lunar terrain, and a document recording astronaut Jack Schmitt's report of a flash observed on the lunar surface.
Two more file releases have followed since May.
The same government that spent 50 years dismissing anyone who asked about UFOs just released those Apollo photographs – and they did it because Trump forced them to.
Now Ukrainian astronomers – credentialed scientists at a national academy, using calibrated high-speed equipment – are tracking objects near the moon that display repeating brightness patterns, synchronized flashes across hundreds of miles, and directional movement no natural phenomenon explains.
Camera artifacts don't synchronize across hundreds of miles.
Random debris doesn't pulse at repeating frequencies.
And nothing natural travels 14 miles in under four seconds.

They classified the files, buried the footage, dismissed the pilots, and sneered at anyone who pushed back.
Trump gave you the files.
Trump said let the American people decide for themselves what the hell is going on – and the answer coming back from a Ukrainian telescope is that something is operating near the moon, it's enormous, and it doesn't behave like anything natural.
You were right to ask.
They were wrong to hide it.
