Royal family gave Meghan Markle’s Netflix comeback one response that exposed how irrelevant she’s become

Meghan Markle thought her Netflix lifestyle show would make waves in the royal circles.

She was desperately wrong about that.

And the royal family gave Meghan Markle’s Netflix comeback one response that exposed how irrelevant she’s become.

The royal family couldn’t care less about Meghan’s latest desperate grab for attention

Season 2 of Meghan’s Netflix series "With Love, Meghan" premiered this week, and you’d think after years of the Duchess of Sussex launching attacks on the royal family, they’d at least be curious about what she’s up to now.

Think again.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield dropped a bombshell that shows just how far Meghan has fallen in the eyes of the people she spent years trying to destroy.

"According to my sources, Season 2 is not even on the palace’s radar," Schofield told Fox News Digital. "It poses no impact on the core four: King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales."

But it gets even more brutal than that.

Schofield pointed out that friends of William and his wife, Kate Middleton, recently spoke to Bella magazine, claiming that the Duchess of Sussex’s latest ventures are "all very budget and rushed."

That’s got to sting for someone who’s been desperately trying to reinvent herself as some sort of lifestyle guru.

"There’s a sense of desperation that the royal family simply cannot relate to," Schofield explained. "They won’t lose any sleep over the prospect of ‘With Love, Meghan.’ It won’t be on their calendars, and they certainly won’t be making her pasta or bath salts."

Here’s what this royal snub really tells us

This isn’t just about a family feud anymore.

This is about complete and total irrelevance.

Think about what Meghan spent years doing to these people – she sat down with Oprah Winfrey while Prince Philip was literally dying in a hospital bed and accused unnamed royals of racism.

She helped Harry write that tell-all book that trashed his own family.

She made a Netflix documentary series that aired every piece of dirty laundry she could get her hands on.

And now?

Complete radio silence from the people she attacked.

British royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital the royals are actually "relieved" that Meghan didn’t make any revelations about the royal family in Season 1.

That tells you everything you need to know about how they view her now – not as a threat, not as someone worth engaging with, but as someone they’re just hoping will go away quietly.

"Senior royals have zero interest in watching Meghan Markle’s show," Fordwich stated. "It’s deemed irrelevant while it avoids nakedly commercializing their royal connections."

The timing of this snub couldn’t be more perfect

Here’s what makes this even more interesting – King Charles is actually working with Netflix himself.

The monarch is collaborating with actor Idris Elba on a documentary about The King’s Trust for the same streaming platform that pays Meghan millions.

So it’s not that the royal family has some principled opposition to Netflix.

They just don’t care about Meghan specifically.

"That makes it harder to fault Harry and Meghan for their own Netflix contracts," Schofield noted. "Of course, if the Sussexes continue producing negative content about the royal family, estrangement will persist."

But even if Harry and Meghan completely stop attacking the royals, the damage might already be done.

"I hate to sound pessimistic, but the damage is significant," Schofield said. "Harry and Meghan made already-challenging years even harder for the royal family. While Prince Philip lay in a hospital bed, they sat down with Oprah Winfrey and accused an unnamed royal of racism."

What this means for Meghan’s future

Meghan bet everything on her royal connections, and now those connections are worth absolutely nothing to the people who actually matter.

The Hollywood Reporter recently noted that Netflix’s partnership extension with Harry and Meghan mirrored the "downgrade" that Barack and Michelle Obama experienced with the streaming platform.

That’s not exactly the company you want to be compared to when you’re trying to build your brand.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams warned that if rumors about the Sussexes doing a documentary about Princess Diana are true, "that would certainly cause concern."

But even then, he noted the real question: "Will it also show how Harry and Meghan have to monetize their royal connections to survive in Hollywood?"

The answer seems pretty obvious at this point.

British broadcaster Helena Chard summed up what everyone’s thinking: "The royal family’s mistrust of Prince Harry and especially Meghan Markle runs very deep. They continue to be estranged from the royal family."

And here’s the part that’s got to drive Meghan crazy – she’s still using her royal title commercially, something Queen Elizabeth specifically said shouldn’t happen.

"The irritation lies in Meghan’s insistence on using her title commercially," Schofield explained. "Queen Elizabeth was firm that titles should not be tied to businesses, so this does little to soften the prospect of reconciliation."

So there you have it.

Meghan spent years attacking the royal family, thinking she could have it both ways – trash them publicly while still benefiting from her royal connections.

Now she’s finding out that when you burn bridges, sometimes there’s no way back across.

And the people she tried so hard to hurt?

They’ve moved on without giving her a second thought.
