A man took a train across the country with two firearms and multiple knives to attempt to assassinate the president.
Rosie O'Donnell watched from Ireland and called it fake.
But Rosie O’Donnell went on camera and called the entire assasination attempt a hoax.
What She Actually Said
Two days after Cole Allen charged a security checkpoint at the White House Correspondents' Dinner and put a bullet into a Secret Service agent's chest – saved only by his vest – O'Donnell went on TikTok.
"It's so good when you don't want to watch the news about fake assassination attempts or what they're calling an assassination attempt," she said.
Allen had booked a hotel room at the Washington Hilton weeks in advance.
He bought a one-way Amtrak ticket from Los Angeles.
Half an hour before the attack, he took a selfie in his hotel room – dressed in a black shirt and red tie, loaded down with a shoulder holster, an ammunition bag, and a sheathed knife.
He sent a farewell email to family members and a former employer, signing it "Cole 'Friendly Federal Assassin' Allen," with a scheduled send timed to deliver as the attack began.
He ran through a metal detector holding a 12-gauge shotgun.
The Department of Justice charged him with attempting to assassinate the President of the United States.
Rosie O'Donnell called it fake.
She's Been Running This Playbook Since Butler
This isn't new.
After a rifle bullet grazed Trump's ear in Butler, Pennsylvania – on live television, in front of tens of thousands of witnesses, with one attendee killed and two others wounded – O'Donnell went on TikTok and said it probably wasn't a real bullet.
"I don't think it was a bullet that hit him," she said. "I think it was maybe a fragment of something."
She questioned the fist-pump photo.
She suggested Trump's ear had mysteriously healed.
"He's not an octopus," she said. "He doesn't regrow his limbs."
Three attempts on Trump's life.
All three times, O'Donnell found a way to call them into question.

She's doing this from Ireland, where she moved after Trump won in 2024.
The Left Built the Conditions for This
Here's what the mainstream media will not say out loud.
Allen's DOJ charging documents show he sent a farewell email explaining why he did it – declaring he was no longer willing to accept what he believed Trump was doing to the country.
That conviction didn't come from nowhere.
Jimmy Kimmel went on television three days before the attack and joked that Melania Trump had "a glow like an expectant widow."
He said it on camera.
He said it to millions of people.
When Trump and Melania called for ABC to fire him afterward, Karoline Leavitt said what needed to be said from the White House podium: rhetoric like Kimmel's "has led crazy people to believe crazy things, and they are inspired to commit violence because of those words."

She's right.
A woman living in Ireland – who fled America because she despised Trump – is now on TikTok telling 2.4 million followers that the latest attempt on his life was a staged hoax.
Consider what someone already burning with political rage does with that message.
Trump's response after surviving a third attempt on his life was to stand in front of cameras and ask Americans to resolve their differences peacefully.
He said there was "a tremendous amount of love and coming together" in that room.
He said he was impressed by it.
That's the man Rosie O'Donnell calls a fraud from 3,000 miles away.
