Rosie O’Donnell demanded Trump’s removal from office that left the White House shaking their heads

Dec 28, 2025

Rosie O'Donnell's obsession with President Donald Trump has reached a fever pitch.

She fled the country to escape him but couldn't stay silent.

And Rosie O'Donnell demanded Trump's removal from office that left the White House shaking their heads.

O'Donnell's latest meltdown over Kennedy Center renaming

Rosie O'Donnell's long-running feud with President Donald Trump flared up again after the Kennedy Center board voted to rename the iconic venue "The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts."

O'Donnell posted a TikTok video to her 2.9 million followers from her new home in Ireland, calling it "Saturday Night Ramble."¹

After some opening remarks about Christmas, she launched into another Trump attack — this time refusing to even speak his name.

Instead, she called him "It" over and over again.

"The Kennedy Center debacle. It has gone too far. It is seriously unwell. It needs to be removed from office. It, the nameless blob of negative energy. It," O'Donnell said.²

O'Donnell has spent years obsessing over Trump, and fleeing the country didn't change anything.

She told The Washington Post she made a deal with her therapist right before Thanksgiving — no Trump posts for 48 hours.³

That promise fell apart within hours.

White House responds to O'Donnell's Trump Derangement Syndrome

The White House has previously responded to O'Donnell's comments on Trump with devastating directness.

"Rosie O'Donnell clearly suffers from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, and it's better for the entire country that she decided to move away," White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital.⁴

But moving 3,000 miles away hasn't cured O'Donnell's obsession — it might have made it worse.

O'Donnell told The Washington Post she "can't resist" speaking about Trump.⁵

Her longtime friend Jennifer Kopetic grew "annoyed" during a recent visit and urged O'Donnell, "Roseann, you've got to detach. You've got to disconnect."⁶

O'Donnell then made another promise to her 1.2 million Instagram followers that she was "gonna try again to not give him a minute of me."⁷

She failed that attempt too.

The comedian's brother Eddie, who is helping with her Irish citizenship application, called her move abroad "the best decision she's made."⁸

But even Eddie's support can't hide the obvious reality — O'Donnell is trapped in a prison of her own making, where Trump lives rent-free in her head 24/7.

Trump's Kennedy Center move drives liberals into hysteria

Trump's hand-picked board voted unanimously to rename the Kennedy Center on December 18.⁹

Workers began adding metal lettering to the building's exterior the very next day that declared "The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts."¹⁰

Congress designated the center as a living memorial to Kennedy in 1964, the year after he was assassinated.¹¹

Kennedy family members and Democrat lawmakers immediately claimed the renaming violated federal law.

Former Democratic Rep. Joe Kennedy III posted on X that the center "is a living memorial to a fallen president and named for President Kennedy by federal law" and "can no sooner be renamed than can someone rename the Lincoln Memorial."¹²

Kerry Kennedy, a niece of former President Kennedy, posted on social media that she will remove Trump's name herself when his term as president ends.¹³

"Three years and one month from today, I'm going to grab a pickax and pull those letters off that building, but I'm going to need help holding the ladder. Are you in?" she wrote on X.¹⁴

But Trump isn't backing down.

The President claimed during an Oval Office executive order signing that he was "surprised" and "honored" by the board's vote, even though he personally purged the center's previous board earlier this year after calling it "too woke."¹⁵

"We're saving the building. We saved the building. The building was in such bad shape — physically, financially, in every other way," Trump told reporters. "And now it's very solid and very strong."¹⁶

Democrats can scream about federal law all they want.

Trump just put his name on one of Washington's most iconic buildings, and there's nothing they can do about it except rage on TikTok from Ireland.
