In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s brutal assassination, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) went on CNN and sneered that his life’s work belongs in “the dustbin of history.”

Rather than acknowledge Kirk was a husband, a father, and a man whose free-speech activism inspired millions, Omar doubled down, blasting efforts to honor him, attacking those who respected his legacy, and waving off his family’s grief with cold arrogance.

“We should hopefully move on and forget the hate that he spewed every single day,” Omar said — words that tell us more about her character than about Kirk’s.
