Nancy Pelosi told America she supports banning congressional stock trades.
Then her husband dropped millions on a fuel cell company.
And Paul Pelosi bought $3 million in Bloom Energy weeks before the stock exploded 40 percent.
The Trade That Made Pelosi Richer While You Were Watching
On July 24, Paul Pelosi purchased 10,000 shares of Bloom Energy plus 100 call options – a combined stake worth between $2 million and $10 million.
Four days later, he bought another 5,000 shares and 100 more call options, adding another $1 million to $2 million on top of that.
The total investment: at least $3 million in Bloom Energy.
On July 28 – the same day Paul Pelosi made his second purchase – Bloom Energy reported blowout quarterly earnings, including annual revenue growth of 165%.
The stock ran.
Then, on September 4, S&P Dow Jones Indices announced Bloom Energy would join the S&P 500.
The stock ran again – nearly 40% over five trading days.

The Pelosi household paid between $166 and $184 a share across both tranches.
By Tuesday, September 9, Bloom Energy closed at $277.
That is a paper gain of roughly $1.5 million on the share purchases alone – before counting the call options, which multiply returns on the upside.
Nancy Pelosi's office issued the standard statement: "Speaker Pelosi does not own any stocks and has no knowledge or subsequent involvement in any transactions."
That line is word-for-word identical to what her office said in 2022.
This Is Not the First Time
In 2022, Paul Pelosi grabbed between $1 million and $5 million in Nvidia call options – weeks before Nancy Pelosi's House voted on $52 billion in semiconductor industry subsidies.
Peter Schweizer of the Government Accountability Institute said it plainly at the time: "He's making those bets based on companies and industries that are highly regulated or are getting stimulus programs that Nancy Pelosi is supporting."
Paul Pelosi sold the Nvidia position after the public scrutiny became too intense.
He took a loss on the trade – one of the fastest disclosures in congressional history.
Before that, her husband exercised options on Google stock one week before the House Judiciary Committee held an antitrust hearing targeting Big Tech.
In 2020, the Pelosi household outperformed the S&P 500 by 14.3 percent.
In 2023, Nancy Pelosi's portfolio posted a 65% return while the average American watched their savings lose ground to inflation.
The pattern is not subtle.
The STOCK Act Was Built for Show
Congress passed the STOCK Act in 2012 to stop members from trading on insider information.
The penalty for a first-time violation: $200.
Two hundred dollars.
The STOCK Act requires disclosure within 45 days.

It does not require anyone to stop trading.
It does not require members to recuse themselves from legislation affecting their holdings.
And the people responsible for enforcing it work in agencies funded by Congress.
Schweizer has made the problem plain: the agencies responsible for enforcement are funded by the very Congress they're supposed to police.
Senator Josh Hawley introduced the PELOSI Act – the Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments Act – specifically naming it after her. It has not passed.
President Trump called her out by name at the State of the Union, urging Congress to "pass the Stop Insider Trading Act without delay" while asking if Pelosi was in the room.
She reportedly stopped clapping the moment Trump said her name.
What 20,000 People Already Figured Out
The Pelosi Tracker app now has more than 20,000 users copying her trades and managing an estimated $44 million – because they've figured out that mimicking a congresswoman's portfolio beats anything Wall Street offers.
They are probably right.
Bloom Energy makes fuel cell systems for AI data centers – a business that has exploded alongside the AI boom.
The stock is up more than 400% over the past 12 months.
It carries a market cap of nearly $83 billion.

When you know that a company is about to join the S&P 500 – which forces every index fund in America to buy shares automatically – you buy before the announcement.
Nancy Pelosi's husband bought it six weeks before the announcement.
"Sunlight is the best disinfectant," her spokesperson said back in 2022, defending the STOCK Act's disclosure approach.
They keep disclosing.
They keep profiting.
Nothing changes.
