Pam Bondi Just Gave Democrats One Brutal Truth About Maduro That Left Them Stunned

Jan 8, 2026

Democrats spent days screaming about Trump's Venezuela operation.

They called it illegal, unconstitutional, and reckless.

And Pam Bondi just gave Democrats one brutal truth about Maduro that left them stunned.

Trump's Maduro capture sends Democrats into meltdown

Attorney General Pam Bondi dropped a truth bomb on Democrats that exposed their hypocrisy about the Maduro operation for the entire country to see.

The capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro wasn't "just about drugs," Bondi told Sean Hannity during her first interview about Operation Absolute Resolve on Monday night.

Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores face narcoterrorism charges in federal court after pleading not guilty Monday.

But Bondi made clear more charges are coming.

"Nothing is off the table," Bondi said. "These people must remain behind bars. They are responsible for the loss of so many lives, and these aren't street-level drug dealers. They are narco-traffickers."

Democrats like Chuck Schumer and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rushed to condemn the operation as illegal the moment Trump announced it Saturday.

Senator Andy Kim claimed Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth "blatantly lied to Congress" when they said the operation wasn't about regime change weeks ago.

Tim Kaine called the military action a "sickening return" to U.S. domination of Latin America.

The same Democrats who spent years demanding Maduro be removed suddenly discovered constitutional principles the second Trump actually did something about the Venezuelan dictator.

Bondi destroys the Democrat narrative with American victims

Bondi shut down the Democrat attacks by listing the Americans killed by Venezuelan gang members that Maduro deliberately sent into the United States.

She named 22-year-old Laken Riley.

She named 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray.

"It's horrific, and it is going to stop," Bondi vowed.

The Trump Administration designated the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua as a Foreign Terrorist Organization precisely because Maduro weaponized the gang against Americans.

The Justice Department says Maduro provided "Venezuelan diplomatic passports to drug traffickers and facilitated diplomatic cover for planes used by money launderers to repatriate drug proceeds from Mexico to Venezuela."

Bondi explained that Operation Absolute Resolve was "well within" President Trump's constitutional authority despite Democrat hysteria about congressional approval.

"It was a law enforcement function to arrest indicted individuals in Venezuela," Bondi said. "Our military pulled off a flawless, flawless execution of that."

She went on to stress Saturday's covert operation "saved countless lives."

The president saved thousands of Americans by stopping the flow of deadly drugs and removing a dictator who deliberately flooded our country with gang members, Bondi argued.

"The president saved thousands, countless lives tonight," Bondi said. "But he also protected Americans from the TdA members who Maduro let into our country, forced into our country."

Democrats spent years calling Maduro a murderous dictator who destroyed Venezuela.

Schumer specifically attacked Trump in 2020 for not "bringing an end to the Maduro regime" because "the Maduro regime is more powerful today and more entrenched today than it was when the President began."

Now Trump actually removed Maduro and suddenly Democrats think it's illegal.

Ocasio-Cortez claimed the operation has "nothing to do with American security" and accused Trump of only caring about Venezuelan oil.

But Bondi made clear the operation protected American lives from a narcoterrorist who used his position as head of state to run a drug trafficking empire that killed hundreds of thousands of Americans.

A man who briefly spoke with Maduro in Manhattan federal court on Monday said the dictator compared himself to Jesus and declared himself a "prisoner of war."

"I am innocent, I am not guilty," Maduro told the court. "I am a decent man. I am still president of my country."

Maduro's lawyers will challenge the legality of his arrest and claim he has immunity as a sovereign head of state.

But Bondi destroyed that argument before it even started.

Maduro isn't a legitimate head of state. He's a narcoterrorist with American blood on his hands. And Trump made sure he'll face justice for it.
