Palace Staff Refuse To Serve Andrew After King Charles Forced Royal Lodge Exit – And The List Keeps Growing

Feb 18, 2026

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor just got stripped of his royal titles and kicked out of his mansion.

Now palace staff are telling King Charles they won't work for him – and nobody's surprised.

The list of employees refusing to serve the disgraced former prince has gotten so long that it's turned into what experts are calling a full-blown mutiny.

Palace Staff Call Him "Creepy" After Epstein Files Release

Palace workers have been given permission to decline serving Andrew if they're uncomfortable with the assignment.

They're taking it in droves.

British royals expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News that staff members find Andrew "creepy" or "disgusting," and they're not keeping quiet about it anymore.

The Sun reported there's already a lengthy list of employees saying "no thanks" to working for Andrew at his new home on the Sandringham estate.

One source said there's "understandable disquiet" because Andrew "is now viewed as a total pariah."

This isn't some polite disagreement over schedules.

Fordwich called it what it is – "a mutiny by staff who are extremely uncomfortable not only serving Andrew given his scandalous behavior but also because of the ghastly manner in which he treats staff and anyone he deems beneath him, which ostensibly amounts to everyone."

Staff revolts against senior royals are virtually unheard of.

You're watching palace employees risk their careers rather than deal with this man.

Paul Burrell's Royal Lodge Revelations: The Soft Toy Diagram

Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell just released a tell-all book called "The Royal Insider" that details exactly what working for Andrew was like.

The picture isn't pretty.

Burrell says Andrew would tell staff to "F off, get out of here, F off" – his exact words describing the pompous behavior he witnessed firsthand.

But here's the detail that shows you how far gone this guy really is.

Andrew kept a photograph of his stuffed animal collection in a drawer.

The maids had to reference it after making his bed to ensure every soft toy was placed in exactly the right spot.

Grown man with a teddy bear diagram for the help.

That's not eccentric – that's a man who never grew up and treats human beings like servants who exist only to arrange his toys.

Queen Elizabeth herself had to step in when Andrew and Sarah Ferguson kept palace staff working until midnight serving their lavish dinner parties.

The staff "rebelled and protested" until the Master of the Household informed the late queen.

She told Andrew the staff were her employees, not his, and he needed to treat them with respect.

Andrew got a "ticking off" from his mother.

Then he and Ferguson refused to let maids into their rooms to make the beds, staying in bed "at all hours" and continuing to "abuse the system."

Even a direct order from the Queen of England couldn't get this man to show basic human decency.

Prince Andrew Staff Complaints: Pattern Goes Back Decades

This isn't new behavior – it's who Andrew has always been.

Burrell told Fox News that Andrew "never respected palace staff who looked after the family because he always believed it was his right."

In 2005, Andrew allegedly screamed at a palace employee at Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland for failing to correctly refer to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.

His reported words – "You f-king imbecile. Get out."

In August 2025, witnesses said Andrew confronted construction workers installing speed bumps near Royal Lodge while riding his horse.

He allegedly shouted profanity-laced insults at a road crew just trying to do their jobs.

The royal biographer Andrew Lownie documented palace insiders describing Andrew's attitude that staff were "there to serve and not question his actions."

A former equerry for the Queen Mother called Andrew a "rude, ignorant sod" who barked demands constantly, with "Do it!" as his catchphrase.

Multiple sources across decades – palace staff, royal biographers, construction workers – all tell the same story about a man who treats people beneath his station with open contempt.

King Charles Strips Titles As Sandringham Staff Revolt

The late Queen Elizabeth protected her favorite son for decades, bailing him out financially and shielding him from consequences.

Now King Charles owns this mess.

He stripped Andrew of his titles on October 30, 2025 after the Justice Department released over 3 million pages of Epstein-related documents in January 2026 that included photos of Andrew on all fours above an unidentified woman.

Charles forced him out of the 30-room Royal Lodge mansion ahead of an Easter deadline.

Andrew moved to Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate temporarily before relocating to Marsh Farm – where staff are now staging their unprecedented resistance.

Prince Philip served as "guardian of the gate" to make sure other royals didn't bother the queen with personal problems.

But after Philip died in 2021, Andrew had direct access to his mother – and she "was always there for her son, to save him from himself and from his mistakes."

Burrell told Fox News the queen "must have been aware of Andrew's character" but "still protected him."

In his book, Burrell wrote that Andrew made "life hell for the people around him" and unlike his mother, he "never" respected palace staff because he always believed service was his right.

Royal Staff Strike: Unprecedented Mutiny At King's Estate

Fordwich called the staff mutiny "totally unprecedented for any royal, especially among senior royals, to experience such resistance, which really amounts to a strike."

Even though Charles says he's paying for Andrew's new home from private funds, the public views it as their tax money – and they're furious.

Palace employees aren't just uncomfortable with Andrew's Epstein connections.

They're done with a man who has spent his entire life making their jobs hell through verbal abuse, impossible demands, and treatment that reduces them to furniture arrangers for stuffed animals.

Burrell believes Andrew and Ferguson "must pay for their sins" – and he's right.

But watching palace staff finally refuse to enable this behavior?

That's justice happening in real time.

The man who spent decades telling servants to "F off" is learning what happens when they actually do.
