The Left spent 60 years telling Black America that Democrats are their only option.
Nick Cannon just torched that lie on live television.
And what he said next has Democrats more terrified than anything they have heard in years.
Nick Cannon on Big Drive: Democrats Are the Party of the KKK
Cannon was driving with model and Trump supporter Amber Rose on his online show Big Drive when Rose said Democrats "don't care about people of color" and Republicans do.
Cannon didn't hedge.
"I agree with you 100 percent," he shot back. "People don't know that the Democrats are the party of the KKK. People don't know that the Republicans are the party that freed the slaves."
Then he went further.
When the conversation turned to Trump's second term, Cannon was enthusiastic.
"Motherf****** cleaning house," he said. "He's doing what he said he was gonna do."
He even praised Trump's border enforcement, joking that Trump "is like the club – charging a $5 million bottle service fee to get into the country."

Cannon acknowledged he doesn't subscribe to either party – quoting W.E.B. Du Bois that both parties are "one evil party with two different names" – but his admiration for what Trump is actually accomplishing came through loud and clear.
Democrats Founded the KKK and Filibustered the Civil Rights Act
The left is screaming "the parties switched" to dismiss Cannon, but that talking point has always been a con job designed to make Democrats feel better about their own history.
Here are the facts.
The Republican Party was founded in 1854 by anti-slavery activists – its entire reason for existing was to destroy slavery.
Republican President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 and the 13th Amendment abolishing slavery passed in 1865.
For the next 100 years, the Democrat Party ran the Jim Crow South, supplied the membership of the Ku Klux Klan, and blocked every piece of civil rights legislation that came near Congress.
Democrat Senator Robert Byrd – a former KKK recruiter who Hillary Clinton once called her "mentor and friend" – filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act and voted against it.
That Civil Rights Act passed because Republicans saved it.
The U.S. Senate's own historical record confirms it: Republican Minority Leader Everett Dirksen of Illinois rallied his party colleagues with a speech calling racial integration "an idea whose time has come" – and those Republican votes broke the Democrat filibuster.

Without Republicans, there is no Civil Rights Act.
The Party of Lincoln Has Always Fought for Black Americans
Every time a Black American figures out what the Democrat Party actually is, the left hits them with the same deflection: "Sure, Democrats were the KKK – but the parties switched!"
They didn't.
Southern racists like Strom Thurmond left the Democrat Party in 1964 – but the vast majority of Democrats stayed Democrats.
Al Gore Sr. voted against the Civil Rights Act – his son became the Democrat Party's climate messiah.
What actually happened in the 1960s is that the Democrat Party realized Black voters were a reliable voting bloc they could lock down with government programs – and they have been exploiting that loyalty ever since.
Amber Rose, who endorsed Trump at the 2024 Republican National Convention, nailed the real Democrat strategy: "Democrats don't care about Black people. They don't care about people of color, and the Republicans do."
Black Celebrities Are Leaving the Democrat Party and the Left Is Panicking
Nick Cannon is the latest in a long and growing line of Black artists and entertainers who have broken with the Democrat plantation.
Kanye West walked into the Oval Office wearing a MAGA hat in 2018.
Lil Wayne met with Trump before the 2020 election and said Trump had done more for Black Americans than any other president.
Snoop Dogg performed at Trump's 2025 inauguration celebration after years of bashing him.
Nicki Minaj called herself Trump's "number one fan" at a Washington summit and praised him publicly for months.

The Democrat media is dismissing all of this as ignorance or worse – but that condescension is exactly the attitude that is driving Black celebrities and Black voters away.
When you treat an entire community like they cannot think for themselves, eventually they stop listening to you.
Nick Cannon just proved it.
The Left's Rage Is the Tell
The reaction to Cannon's comments reveals everything about the Democrat Party's relationship with Black voters.
They are not defending their party's history.
They are calling him ignorant and trying to explain away 100 years of Democrat racial terror with a one-sentence talking point about "the parties switched."
That is not a party that respects the community it claims to represent.

Trump has spent his second term delivering on every promise he made to Black Americans who gave him their trust – from economic security to border enforcement that protects American workers, including Black workers whose wages get undercut first when Democrats flood the labor market with cheap illegal labor.
Amber Rose has been saying it for years.
Nick Cannon just made it impossible to ignore.
The dam is breaking – and Democrats have no one to blame but themselves.
