Nancy Pelosi tore up Trump's State of the Union speech on national television.
Now she's on MSNBC telling you Republicans have "no commitment to the rule of law."
And she said it with a straight face while her party is six weeks into holding TSA workers' paychecks hostage.
Pelosi Called It a Mission While the DHS Shutdown Hit Day 44
Pelosi appeared on Chris Jansing Reports Monday morning and laid out exactly what Democrats are doing in 2026.
"We have three purposes now," she said.
One is to win the midterms.
Two is to make sure elections are "safe" – that's Democrat code for stopping ICE from showing up at polling locations and preserving mass mail-in voting.
Three is to "tell people what we will do when we win."
She called it "the mission."
Not the mission of governing.
Not the mission of keeping the TSA running.
The mission of winning power back.

Meanwhile, nearly 500 TSA officers have quit since Democrats started this shutdown in February.
Some airports are seeing 40 to 50 percent of their security workforce calling out on a single day.
A father of three just left his TSA post because he couldn't figure out how to feed his family while Pelosi was on MSNBC.
Democrats Blocked TSA Funding Five Times and Called It Principled
When the reporter pushed her on the DHS shutdown, Pelosi had a ready answer.
Democrats wanted to fund all of DHS except ICE – that's what she said.
What she didn't say: Democrats blocked the full funding bill five separate times.
What she didn't say: Senate Majority Leader John Thune put a deal on the table that funded everything except ICE's deportation division – and Democrats killed it.
What she didn't say: Thune described the Democratic response as "not even close to being real."

Karoline Leavitt said it plainly from the White House podium last week.
"They'll ask for something," Leavitt said. "We'll give them that concession, and then they say, 'oh wait, that's not enough, actually.'"
"The cruelty is the point. They want this chaos."
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had the nerve to declare he was "very proud" of his caucus for staying "united."
United in keeping TSA workers broke through spring break travel season.
The Tell Democrats Don't Want You to Notice
Here's what the rule of law looks like to Nancy Pelosi.
It looks like impeaching Donald Trump twice and failing both times.
It looks like tearing up the State of the Union on live television.
It looks like a San Francisco Democrat who spent her career protecting a city that let criminal illegal aliens walk free.
It looks like blocking border security funding for six consecutive weeks while an 18-year-old girl named Sheridan Gorman got shot and killed in Chicago by a Venezuelan illegal alien the Biden administration caught and released in 2023.
Pelosi announced last November she won't seek reelection.
She's leaving Congress in January.
So ask yourself why she's on MSNBC today talking about rule of law instead of explaining why Democrats kept TSA workers unpaid for 44 days to extract ICE body camera requirements.
The answer is she can't defend the shutdown on its merits.
No Democrat can.

When your strongest argument for blocking homeland security funding is "we want ICE agents to wear body cameras," you've already lost the debate.
So you go on television and call the other side lawless.
You call it "the mission."
And you hope nobody notices that the woman lecturing America about rule of law just spent six weeks making sure your airport security line stretched four and a half hours – because she cares more about what ICE wears on their vest than whether a TSA officer can feed his kids.
That's not a party fighting for the rule of law.
That's a party that knows it's losing and needs a new bumper sticker before November.
