Democrats led a coup against Joe Biden to force him out of the Presidential race.
Nancy Pelosi was one of the ringleaders of this assault on democracy.
And now Nancy Pelosi made one startling confession about ending Joe Biden’s career.
Nancy Pelosi’s non-existent relationship with Joe Biden
After Joe Biden bombed in the June 27 debate with Donald Trump, where a senile Biden claimed to have “beat Medicare” and rambled aimlessly on answer after answer, Democrats knew Biden was a guaranteed loser against Donald Trump in November.
Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) reportedly organized a pressure campaign to mobilize elected Democrats to announce they could no longer support Biden that culminated with Biden quitting the Presidential race on July 21.
Democrat Party elites then anointed Kamala Harris as their nominee in the proverbial smoke-filled back room without a single vote being cast for Kamala.
Pelosi and Joe Biden were thick as thieves for 40 years.
No more.
Not after Pelosi ended Joe Biden’s pursuit of the office Biden spent the last 50 years fighting for.
Pelosi told The Guardian’s Politics Weekly America podcast that she and Biden haven’t spoken since the day Biden threw in the towel in his re-election bid.
“Not since then, no,” Pelosi said of the last time she spoke to Biden. “But I’m prayerful about it.”
Pelosi tried to extend olive branches to Biden in interviews by absurdly claiming Biden belongs on Mt. Rushmore.
In this podcast with The Guardian, Pelosi also tried to claim that Biden – who sent inflation roaring to 40-year highs, opened the border to 10,000,000 illegal aliens and pushed America to the brink of nuclear war with Russia – was somehow a great President.
“I have the greatest respect for him. I think he’s one of the great consequential presidents of our country,” Pelosi added.
But Pelosi did admit that she led the charge to pressure Biden out of the race because she was on a losing trajectory against Trump.
“I think his legacy had to be protected. I didn’t see that happening in the course that it was on, the election was on,” Pelosi added.
Pelosi ended up winning the power struggle with Biden because she refused to take “yes” for an answer when Biden would say he intended on remaining in the race.
The former Speaker also admitted that put her relationship with Biden on ice.
“‘Let’s get on a better course. He will make the decision as to what that is.’ And he made that decision. But I think he has some unease because we’ve been friends for decades,” Pelosi concluded.
Biden’s version of events
Three weeks after dropping out of the race, Biden spoke to reporters on an airport tarmac.
Biden claimed he ended his re-election campaign of his own volition and wasn’t forced out.
“No one influenced my decision, no one knew it was coming,” Biden began.
Biden said he quit the race after coming to believe he would hurt down ballot Democrats chances to win House and Senate elections.
“A number of my Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate thought that I was going to hurt them in the races. And I was concerned if I stayed in the race, that would be the topic — you’d be interviewing me about why did Nancy Pelosi say [something] . . . and I thought it’d be a real distraction,” Biden added.
Clearly someone here isn’t telling the truth.
And the smart money is on Biden, since he was the President who faced a humiliating rebuke from his own party and needed to find a face-saving explanation for why he became the first President since 1968 not to seek re-election.
