Fifty-five percent of Democrats just admitted they'd rather live somewhere else.
Nancy Pelosi spent thirty years telling Americans she was fighting for them – turns out most of her voters have already decided America isn't worth the trouble.
A new poll asked one simple question, and the answer just ended every argument about which party actually loves this country.
More Than Half Said Yes to Leaving
The Elon University/YouGov America 250 National Survey asked Americans a straightforward question: "Is there any other country on Earth you would rather live in than the United States today?"
Fifty-five percent of Democrats said yes.
Not 15 percent.
Not 25 percent.
Fifty-five percent.
Only 10 percent of Republicans said the same.
Independents came in at 38 percent, which is troubling on its own but nothing like the majority of an entire political party that has decided America isn't worth staying for.
The survey targeted 1,000 U.S. adults between April 30 and May 4, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.95 percent.
This is not a fringe result buried in crosstabs.
This is the mainstream of the Democrat Party telling you exactly who they are.
This Did Not Come Out of Nowhere
You don't wake up one morning with 55 percent of your party wanting to leave the country.
This has been building for years – and the Democrat Party's leadership accelerated it on purpose.
A 2025 Gallup survey found roughly two-thirds of Democrats had a favorable view of socialism, while fewer than half said the same about capitalism.
The party that once nominated John F. Kennedy now has a majority that prefers the economic system that destroyed Venezuela, starved Cuba, and collapsed the Soviet Union.

That shift didn't happen by accident.
New York City just elected a democratic socialist mayor – Zohran Mamdani, a 34-year-old who won on a platform of city-owned grocery stores, frozen rents, and free buses.
He didn't win despite his socialism.
He won because of it.
And when Mamdani won, President Trump called the choice facing Americans exactly what it is: "We have a choice between communism and common sense."
The Party That Tells You to Love America Doesn't
Every Democrat running in 2026 should have to answer this on camera: would you rather live somewhere else?
This is not a policy disagreement about tax rates or healthcare spending.
This is a fundamental divide about whether America – the freest, most prosperous, most powerful nation in human history – is worth staying for.
Republicans answered that question at 10 percent.

Democrats answered it at 55 percent.
Representative Jim Jordan put the midterm choice plainly: "They're crazy. We're not."
He was right – and now there's a poll to prove it.
The Democrat Party does not have a messaging problem heading into 2026.
It has a country problem.
And no amount of campaign ads about "fighting for working families" fixes a party where the majority of voters would rather pack their bags than stay and fix the country they claim to love.
