Melania and Barron Trump found out they were the victims of this awful crime

Dec 12, 2024

The forces trying to destroy Donald Trump didn’t just limit their efforts to his political career.

Trump’s family also found themselves the targets of a weaponized government.

And Melania and Barron Trump found out they were the victims of this awful crime.

Attempt to debank Melania and Barron Trump could be criminal

When Donald Trump left office, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris weaponized the government against him.

The FBI raided Mar-a-Lago.

Attorney General Merrick Garland tasked Jack Smith with locking up Trump ahead of the 2024 election.

But the attempt to destroy Trump wasn’t just through hard power.

Melania Trump wrote in her memoir that her longtime bank closed her account and refused to allow Barron to open an account.

“I was shocked and dismayed to learn that my longtime bank decided to terminate my account and deny my son the opportunity to open a new one,” Melania Trump wrote in her memoir.

Tech entrepreneur Marc Andreessen told Bari Weiss of The Free Press that debanking was a form of soft authoritarianism.

Andreessen agreed with Weiss that the government had powers to destroy political opposition beyond just arresting them.

The government could censor political opponents online.

Andreessen also raised the specter of the government crushing their opponents financially and cited how tyrannical Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau froze the bank accounts of the truckers who protested his vaccine mandate.

Andreessen explained that the government can’t just take away your rights without due process.

“And I’m not a lawyer on this, so I won’t get the details right, but the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is quite clear that the rights that you have do not all need to be enumerated to be rights. And that the government cannot arbitrarily suppress your rights even if they’re not enumerated in the Constitution,” Andreessen began.

“So like for example, the government cannot act on you without due process to take away, for example, your bank account. Like they’re not allowed to. There’s no right to a bank account in the Constitution, but it does say the government cannot act on you in that way without due process,” Andreessen added.

But Andreessen did say there was a ray of hope with the new administration taking office in January that the Trump-led Justice Department could criminally prosecute financial institution executives that debanked conservatives out of political malice if they conspired with the government.

“So I actually think – the lawyers tell me . . . that there actually is a pretty good case that a lot of this behavior is illegal, quite possibly criminally illegal. There are federal criminal statutes around denial of rights and conspiracies to deny rights,” Andreessen continued.

“And at least, I think there’s a reasonable take that if there’s been a conspiracy to deny somebody bank accounts without due process, and specifically that the government has been involved in it, that very well might be criminal felony behavior,” Andreessen concluded.
