Megyn Kelly goes off on Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for secret meeting with Trump
MSNBC Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are some of the most craven and dishonest pundits in the mainstream media.
They interviewed Trump 41 times during the 2016 Republican Presidential Primary before he accepted the GOP nomination.
Scarborough was a member of Mar-a-Lago for years.
But everything changed when Trump won the 2016 Election.
Morning Joe became one of the leaders of the Democrat resistance against Trump during his Presidency.
Scarborough and Brzezinski spent their mornings during the latest election with daily fear mongering that Trump was a wannabe Adolf Hitler who was going to end democracy.
That’s why the hosts of Morning Joe stunned their audience when they announced that they had made a secret trip to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Trump.
Scarborough claimed their meeting with Trump was to “reset the relationship” and change the way the show covered the incoming administration.
Morning Joe railed against the President-elect for years as a threat to the existence of the country and now they were having lunch with him at his resort.
This was all too much for former Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
She went off on Scarborough and Brzezinski for dishonest hacks on her SiriusXM show.
“I searched for a way to respond appropriately, and I called on my 10 years as a litigator in addition to my now 20 as a journalist,” Kelly said. “And I think I found the perfect phrase: Go f*** yourselves. Go f*** yourselves, you dishonest jokes of faux journalists.”
Morning Joe’s shameless behavior called out
Kelly marveled at how Scarborough and Brzezinski reversed themselves on Trump in such short order.
“What an absurd farce that was,” Kelly exclaimed. “They-, Which one was insincere? He’s Hitler? Or now we’re going to speak truth to power and find a way of speaking to and working with Donald Trump? Which one was a lie?”
Morning Joe’s trip to Mar-a-Lago for peace talks with Trump earned the hosts widespread criticism on the Left.
“I never thought I’d utter these words, but I agree with Keith Olbermann. Keith Olbermann’s reaction is my reaction! At least in part,” Kelly stated. “This is the part where I agree with him: ‘Not that those words [Scarborough and Brzezinski’s] ever should have been trusted. They are confidence tricksters and grifters.’”
She noted that the Morning Joe hosts were some of Trump’s biggest supporters in the media during the 2016 Republican Presidential Primary.
“They’re grifters,” Kelly declared. “These two, yes, worked day and night to get Trump the nomination back in ’15-’16. They embarrassed themselves and sacrificed any pretense of journalistic ethics in doing it. It was true bootlicking.”
Scarborough angled to become Trump’s running mate during his first Presidential campaign.
“It is nauseating. It’s so stomach-turning. They are so disgusting,” Kelly said. “And then what happened is Joe Scarborough found out he was not gonna be the Vice Presidential running mate. He had been rejected for that position and they turned, they turned on Trump because access to power is everything to that small, little man.”
MSNBC’s ratings are falling off a cliff, and Morning Joe is willing to do anything to maintain its relevance.
