Dean Cain played Superman in the 90s and became a hero to millions of Americans.
Now he's exposing how the entertainment industry treats conservatives who refuse to sit down and shut up.
He just posted an internal email from a major fan convention that said they won't work with him because his "values don't align" with theirs – and he's demanding they explain exactly what that means.
The GalaxyCon Email Entertainment Industry Doesn't Want You To See
Cain shared a screenshot from GalaxyCon's vice president of talent on social media this week.
The message was clear as day.
The employee wrote she had a soft spot for Cain because he sent her an autographed postcard when she was 10 years old – but that doesn't matter anymore.
GalaxyCon's values don't align with Dean's, so he's out.
No specifics.
No examples.
Just "values."
Cain didn't let them hide behind that garbage.
He demanded owner Mike Broder explain exactly which of his values are so offensive that he can't appear at a comic book convention.
Conservative Actors Face Growing Hollywood Blacklist Pattern
This isn't the first time Cain has faced consequences for refusing to bow to Hollywood's radical leftist groupthink.
He joined ICE last year to support agents Democrats have vilified for enforcing immigration law – and the backlash was immediate and vicious.
John Leguizamo called him a loser, comedian Margaret Cho attacked him for his Japanese heritage, and Bill Maher piled on with tired late-night attacks.
He's also been outspoken about James Gunn turning Superman into woke propaganda by calling the character an immigrant instead of celebrating American values.
That's what gets you blacklisted today – standing up for borders, law enforcement, and the traditional Superman that made the character iconic.
And he's far from alone.
Robert Davi confirmed he's been blacklisted for years, losing roles because executives won't work with Trump supporters.
Zachary Levi called endorsing Trump "career suicide" and Variety admitted his career prospects got dinged for questioning COVID vaccines – the magazine didn't express outrage, they just reported it like blacklisting conservatives is perfectly normal.
Antonio Sabato Jr. had to leave Hollywood entirely and start his own studio after speaking at the Republican National Convention.
Kevin Sorbo, James Woods, and Scott Baio can't get mainstream work despite decades of success.
The list keeps growing and nobody in the media pretends to care about free speech when it's conservatives getting shut out.
Fan Convention Rejects Superman Actor After Private Conversation
Cain eventually spoke with GalaxyCon owner Mike Broder directly.
He said the conversation was respectful and they agreed to disagree on certain things.
Turns out their values weren't as far apart as that email suggested.
So problem solved, right?
Wrong.
GalaxyCon still won't let him appear at their conventions.
And here's the kicker – they're actively promoting a "Stars of Superman" event featuring Tom Welling, Brandon Routh, and Tyler Hoechlin for mail-in autographs.
Three generations of Superman actors celebrating the legacy of the Man of Steel.
Except they deliberately excluded the guy who played Superman for four seasons on Lois & Clark and is still one of the most recognizable faces associated with the character.
The message couldn't be clearer: Get in line with our politics or you don't exist.
What Comic Con Blacklisting Means For Trump Supporters
GalaxyCon generated $42 million for local economies in 2024 and plans to double that in 2025 with 18 shows scheduled.
That's a lot of power to decide who gets to participate in pop culture based on whether they support Trump or believe in enforcing immigration law.
These conventions used to be politically neutral spaces where fans celebrated the characters and stories they loved.
Now they're filtering guests based on ideology instead of professional relevance or fan interest.
Cain asked for specifics about which of his values are problematic and never got a real answer.
That's because there is no answer that would sound reasonable if they said it out loud.
They can't say "we won't work with you because you think ICE agents are heroes" without admitting they're enforcing a political litmus test.
So they hide behind buzzwords and hope nobody calls them on it.
Cain called them on it.
The story still ends with him barred from conventions while celebrating Superman actors – without the actor millions of Americans remember AS Superman from Lois & Clark.
That's the Hollywood blacklist in 2026 – it's real, it's growing, and the people enforcing it don't even pretend to be ashamed anymore.
