Vice President Kamala Harris finally sat down for an interview nearly 40 days after she entered the Presidential race.
She appeared with her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, for a softball interview on CNN.
Her campaign is terrified about the left-wing record she had in the Senate and her failed 2020 Presidential bid coming back to bite her with swing state voters.
Kamala claimed she would be a President for “all Americans” and appoint a member of the Republican Party to her cabinet.
“I’ve got 68 days to go with this election, so I’m not putting the cart before the horse,” Kamala said. “But I would, I think. I think it’s really important. I have spent my career inviting diversity of opinion.”
“I think it’s important to have people at the table when some of the most important decisions are being made that have different views, different experiences,” Kamala continued. “And I think it would be to the benefit of the American public to have a member of my Cabinet who was a Republican.”
Picking a member of the opposing party tradition was something that some Presidential administrations embraced.
Former President Bill Clinton picked a RINO from Maine, Bill Cohen, to serve as his Secretary of Defense during the final years of his administration.
That trend continued under former President Barack Obama who picked RINO former Representative Ray LaHood (R-IL) to serve as his Secretary of Transportation.
Former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden didn’t select a member of the opposing parties for their cabinets.

Kamala promised to pick a Republican for her cabinet to make her seem more moderate to swing state voters.
Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) had a good prediction about what kind of Republican she would pick for the job.
“We all know that Kamala Harris saying she’d appoint a Republican to serve in her cabinet is just more pandering,” Boebert wrote on X. “She’s talking about Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger. Not actual conservatives. This whole remake of Harris is fake. She’s the same California Marxist she’s always been.”

There is no doubt that if Kamala actually picked someone for her cabinet who claimed to be a Republican, it would be a RINO in the mold of Liz Cheney.
Disgraced former Representative Adam Kinzinger (RINO-IL) spoke at the Democratic National Convention.
He only claims to be a Republican anymore because that’s the only reason he has any political relevance.
Cheney and Kinzinger’s only value to Democrats is being trotted out to bash former President Donald Trump and actual Republicans.
