Public schools spent decades telling your kids the Founding Fathers were just old white guys in wigs.
Now Kelsey Grammer is building something to fight back.
And what he said on Planet Tyrus this week is the warning every American parent needed to hear.
The Left Has Known This for Decades
This isn't a new warning.
Ronald Reagan said nearly the same thing in his farewell address to the nation, warning of an "eradication of the American memory" that would eventually erode the American spirit.
Reagan was describing what the left would spend the next three decades actually doing.
They called it the 1619 Project.
They called it equity curriculum.
They called it social-emotional learning.

Every label was different.
The goal was the same: strip out the Founding Fathers, replace them with grievances, and produce a generation of Americans who believe they live in a country not worth defending.
A 2025 national survey found that 43% of Americans say public schools are doing a poor or bad job teaching U.S. history.
The Left didn't stumble into that number by accident.
Thomas Jefferson Was 33
Grammer pushed back hard on the dismissal that drives him crazy.
"Yeah, I'm pretty tired of the old White guy in [a] wig thing," he told Tyrus. "Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he wrote what is arguably the most important political document in the history of man."
The man who wrote the Declaration of Independence – the document that launched the most successful experiment in human self-governance in recorded history – did it at 33.
He wasn't a product of inherited power.
He was a thinker.

And the ideas he put to paper weren't about race or wealth or status.
"It never had anything to do with the way you looked," Grammer said. "It had everything to do with the way you thought and the way you dreamed, and that's all America."
The left doesn't want your kids to hear that.
What Biden Did the Moment He Got Into Office
Biden walked into the White House and killed Trump's 1776 Commission.
Not a border security order.
Not an energy policy.
The commission designed to put the Founding Fathers back in American classrooms – gone.
That tells you everything about what the left actually fears.
Trump brought it back on January 29, 2025, with an executive order ending "radical indoctrination in K-12 schooling."
Florida and Texas followed with new curriculum standards that teach the founding as the achievement it was.
The left called it propaganda.
What they really meant was that it competed with their propaganda.
The Founders Paid for This With Their Lives
Grammer made a point on Planet Tyrus that most Americans have never been taught.
Of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence, Grammer said, most "ended in ruin."
Some lost their fortunes.

Some lost their families.
"Some of their children were murdered, some of their wives were raped," Grammer said.
These weren't comfortable men making a safe political bet.
They were signing a document that made them traitors to the British Crown – which meant hanging if they lost.
They sacrificed everything so that 250 years later, your kids could be taught that they were villains.
That's the corruption Grammer is done watching.
He starred in Young Washington, released July 3rd to mark America's 250th anniversary, and hosted Fox Nation's The Patriot War series on the Revolution.
Now the Epoch Times reports he's actively building a project to fix history education in American schools.
He's not just sounding the alarm.
He's building the answer.
