Katie Porter Sent an F Trump Fundraising Email the Day After Someone Tried to Assassinate Him

May 3, 2026

Democrats spent years telling you their rhetoric had nothing to do with political violence.

Now Katie Porter is proving them liars – one fundraising email at a time.

The day after the third assassination attempt on President Trump's life, Porter hit send on an email that used the phrase "F*** Trump" four times – including in the subject line – and never once mentioned that someone had just tried to kill him.

What the Email Actually Said

Porter's Sunday email opened with a countdown.

"Say it with me. Ready, 1 … 2 … 3 … F*** Trump."

Then again: "Yeah, that's right, F*** Trump."

The email went on to promise donors she would "kick Trump's a** in November."

Not a word about the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Not a word about the chaos, the gunfire, the bodies ducking under tables.

Not a single acknowledgment that someone had tried to assassinate the sitting President of the United States less than 24 hours earlier.

Republican National Committee spokesman Nick Poche didn't mince words.

"Katie Porter is a degenerate loser who is sick in the head," Poche said in a statement to Fox News Digital, adding that Porter was "fan[ning] the flames of violence right after an assassination attempt."

Writer and influencer Bethany Mandel put the double standard in one sentence: "Imagine Barack Obama surviving three assassination attempts and 18 hours later, a Republican sent a fundraising email like this."

This Isn't a One-Off – It's a Pattern

Porter's email didn't land in a vacuum.

Just days before the assassination attempt, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries declared Democrats are in an "era of maximum warfare."

After the attack, with Republicans calling for calm, Jeffries refused to walk it back.

Porter has been caught on camera screaming expletives at a staffer.

She threatened to walk out of a journalist's interview.

Now she's using "F***" as a campaign slogan the morning after a gunman targeted the President.

There is a word for a political movement that responds to assassination attempts by escalating its language.

The RNC called it what it is: fanning the flames.

The Standard They Set for Themselves

They told you words have consequences.

They said it at every press conference from 2017 to 2020.

They demanded apologies, held hearings, gave speeches about how violent political speech creates violent political conditions.

Porter just proved they never believed a word of it.

Because if they believed it – if any of them actually believed it – someone in the Democrat Party would have picked up the phone Sunday morning and told Katie Porter to kill that email.

Jeffries would have walked back "maximum warfare."

Someone, anyone, would have said: not today.

Nobody did.

Porter sent it. Jeffries kept talking.

And the silence from every other Democrat is its own answer.

The RNC said anyone who refuses to condemn Porter is "just as responsible for the rise in left-wing political violence" as Porter herself.

Look around.

Count the Democrats who've condemned her.

That number tells you everything you need to know about what this party has become.
