The FBI spent four years burying the evidence of what happened in 2020.
Kash Patel just found the rooms where they hid it.
And he promised on live television the arrests are coming this week.
The Promise That Has Washington Sweating
Patel went on Fox News Sunday morning and said it straight to Maria Bartiromo's face.
"We have the information that backs President Trump's claim," he told her. "We are going to be making arrests. And it's coming. And I promise you, it's coming soon."
That's not a politician hedging.
That's the sitting director of the FBI going on record, on camera, to 3 million Sunday morning viewers and making a direct commitment.
Bartiromo had set the table perfectly – asking Patel what conservatives have wanted to hear for five years: "Have you done anything about that?"
Patel's answer: everything.
He told her he's been working on this since day one. He said he found things inside FBI headquarters that weren't supposed to be found. Hidden rooms.
Restricted case files buried in computer systems – "purposely put in places for no one to see and find."
Think about what that means.
The FBI – the most powerful law enforcement agency on earth – had evidence stashed away in places designed to make sure it never saw daylight.
Patel isn't just promising arrests.
He's describing a cover-up that went all the way into the building itself.
The Florida Machine Is Already Running
The infrastructure is in place.
The probe out of the Southern District of Florida – the one using a grand jury in Fort Pierce, right in Judge Aileen Cannon's district – has been expanding for months.
The FBI seized physical ballots from Fulton County, Georgia in January.
That's not a records request. That's a raid.
Agents loaded ballots onto trucks while Tulsi Gabbard watched from a command vehicle outside.
Then came Maricopa County in Arizona – a federal grand jury subpoena for every piece of audit data the state senate had.
Then Wayne County, Michigan – the Justice Department demanded all 2024 federal election ballots within 14 days.
Three battleground counties. Three separate collection actions.
In the same month Patel says arrests are imminent.
Joe diGenova – Trump's former campaign lawyer and a Reagan-era U.S. attorney – was just sworn in as counsel to the attorney general and assigned to run the Florida operation.
The career prosecutor he replaced had pushed back on moving quickly, and the DOJ showed her the door.
DiGenova has no such concerns.
He called John Brennan "a real traitor" in 2018.

He was part of the team fighting the 2020 steal from day one.
Now he's inside the DOJ, steering the broadest criminal conspiracy investigation in modern American history.
What "Folding It All In" Actually Means
Here's what Patel said that the media glossed over.
He said the 2020 election evidence is being folded into the broader conspiracy case – the same one targeting everyone who tried to take Trump down from 2016 forward.
That's a specific legal term and a specific legal strategy.
Most federal crimes carry a five-year statute of limitations. By 2025, crimes committed in the 2020 election cycle would normally be expired.
But a conspiracy charge is different.
If prosecutors can show an ongoing coordinated effort – one that continued with overt acts inside the last five years – the clock resets.
The whole decade of scheming becomes fair game.
That's what a "grand conspiracy" case does.
It doesn't just prosecute what happened on Election Day 2020.
It prosecutes everyone who kept covering it up, kept burying the evidence inside FBI computers.
Every act of concealment after the fact is a new overt act in the conspiracy.
And suddenly, people who thought the statute of limitations protected them are standing in front of a grand jury in Fort Pierce.
The Media Wants You to Look Away
Within hours of Patel's interview, the legacy press machine cranked up.
USA Today called Trump's claims "debunked." The Atlantic – which just got hit with a $250 million defamation lawsuit from Patel himself – published another hit piece.

The same outlets that spent four years telling you Hunter Biden's laptop wasn't real are now telling you there's nothing to see here.
That's the tell.
When they fight this hard to make you stop looking, that's when you know they're afraid of what looking will find.
Patel knows what he found in those hidden rooms.
DiGenova is now in charge of turning that into charges.
Barack Obama put John Brennan in charge of the CIA.
Nancy Pelosi spent four years calling the Russia investigation righteous. Chuck Schumer called anyone who questioned the 2020 results an enemy of democracy.
The Americans who voted for Trump twice and watched those people skate free – they've been waiting five years for this moment.
It's coming soon.
