Kash Patel Just Announced What a 519 Percent Increase in TdA Arrests Actually Looks Like

Jul 5, 2026

Biden let them in.

Donald Trump is hunting them down.

And Kash Patel just stood at the DOJ podium and put a number on what that means.

The Body Count Biden Left Behind

Four men grabbed a father outside Dallas in the middle of the night.

His 13-year-old daughter and 12-year-old nephew were with him.

When the father couldn't produce the ransom money they demanded, TdA members dragged him to a bridge and told him to jump.

He's dead.

His daughter watched it happen.

In Chicago, three more TdA members kidnapped a man, beat him, and shot him to death.

All eight entered the United States illegally during the Biden administration.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche named Biden directly: "These violent crimes and murders happened because, under the Biden administration, open-border policies left our borders wide open, and hundreds of suspected TdA terrorists poured through those borders into our country."

Eight charges total – two states, two families destroyed.

What 519 Percent Actually Means

Tren de Aragua didn't materialize overnight.

The gang was born inside Tocorón prison in Venezuela around 2014 – a hellhole where the Venezuelan government handed control of the facility to a crime boss named Héctor "Niño" Guerrero Flores.

From behind bars, Guerrero Flores ran a criminal empire complete with a zoo, a nightclub, and a swimming pool – funded by extortion, kidnapping, and drug trafficking.

When Biden threw open the border, TdA followed 8 million Venezuelan migrants straight into American communities.

They showed up in Aurora, Colorado. The Bronx. Dallas. Chicago. Everywhere Biden's welcome mat reached.

Trump designated TdA a Foreign Terrorist Organization on January 20, 2025 – his first day back in office.

That designation wasn't symbolic.

It gave law enforcement tools they'd never had before – the same tools used against ISIS and al-Qaeda – and pointed them at Venezuelan gangsters operating in American cities.

A U.S. military strike killed Guerrero Flores in June 2026.

The head of the snake is gone.

The Numbers Blanche and Patel Put on the Board

FBI Director Kash Patel didn't just announce eight more arrests.

He announced 29,000 violent gang members had been taken off American streets since Trump was sworn in.

He announced 2,700 gangs dismantled nationwide – a 365% increase over the same point under Biden.

He announced a 519% increase specifically in TdA arrests.

In 18 months, nearly 350 TdA members and associates have been charged or convicted of violent crimes, sex trafficking, kidnapping, weapons charges, drug trafficking, and financial crimes.

The first TdA member ever extradited to the United States on terrorism charges arrived in May 2026 – a prosecution that sent a message reaching every TdA cell in South America.

Three additional TdA leaders remain fugitives, with State Department rewards of $4 million and $5 million on their heads.

FBI Summer Heat 2.0 – the 95-day nationwide operation that delivered Wednesday's eight arrests through FBI Chicago and FBI Dallas – is still running.

Every FBI field office in the country deployed against violent crime.

And TdA is the centerpiece.

What Biden Chose and What Trump Built

Democrats spent two years insisting Trump was manufacturing the TdA threat for political points.

American families have spent two years paying in blood for that argument.

The father thrown off a Dallas bridge wasn't a political talking point.

His daughter wasn't a statistic.

Blanche made it plain at the podium: "None of these men should have been in this country. The father in Texas should be alive today. His daughter and nephew should have never been kidnapped."

Trump understood from day one that a terrorist organization operating inside your borders doesn't get treated like an immigration problem – it gets treated like a war.

The results are on the board.

The only question now is whether the three TdA leaders still running from the FBI understand what's coming for them.
