Jimmy Kimmel called Melania Trump an "expectant widow" days before a gunman tried to assassinate her husband.
Now Karoline Leavitt is at the White House podium naming names – and an Ohio daycare teacher just handed her the perfect exhibit.
You need to see what this woman posted on TikTok after Saturday's assassination attempt – and who she was working with Monday morning.
The Video That Ended Her Career
Corrine Baum was a teacher at BrightPath's Bridgetown Child Care Center in Cincinnati.
After Cole Tomas Allen stormed a security checkpoint at the Washington Hilton during the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner – armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and knives, with a manifesto naming Trump administration officials as targets – Baum went on TikTok.
She didn't condemn it.
She lamented it didn't work.
"Man, there's been a few creators on here saying that like Friday or yesterday could have been the day and then I wake up to that news, but not that news," Baum said in the video.

She was hoping the president was dead.
By Monday afternoon, she wasn't employed anymore.
BrightPath's statement to Fox News Digital said the company does not tolerate any calls for violence, that Baum's comments were "deeply inconsistent with our values," and that she had been terminated.
No administrative leave.
No weeks-long investigation.
She posted the video. She was fired.
This Is the Third Time
Saturday night marked the third major assassination attempt against Trump.
Butler, Pennsylvania in July 2024.
A Florida golf course in September 2024. Now the Washington Hilton.
Allen traveled cross-country by train, booked a room at the hotel hosting the dinner, and came with a written plan.
Court documents show his manifesto listed administration officials as targets "prioritized from highest-ranking to lowest."
He made clear he wasn't there for the appetizers.
A Secret Service agent was struck in the chest and survived because of a bulletproof vest.
There were no fatalities.

And Corrine Baum got on TikTok to say she was disappointed.
What Leavitt Said Out Loud Monday
Karoline Leavitt – who delayed her maternity leave to stand at that podium – didn't hedge.
"This hateful and constant and violent rhetoric directed at President Trump, day after day after day for 11 years, has helped to legitimize this violence and bring us to this dark moment," she told reporters.
She named Kimmel directly for his "expectant widow" crack about Melania.
She named Hakeem Jeffries.
She named the entire Democrat Party's campaign of calling Trump a fascist, a Hitler, an existential threat.
"When you read the manifesto of the shooter, ask yourselves, how different is the rhetoric from this almost-assassin than what you read on social media and hear in various forms every single day?" Leavitt said. "The answer, if you're being honest with yourself, is that there is no difference at all."

Corrine Baum's TikTok was the answer walking around a Cincinnati daycare in sneakers.
The Pattern the Left Won't Acknowledge
After Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University last September, educators in at least 16 states were fired, suspended, or investigated for celebrating his death on social media.
Sixteen states.
That's not a few bad actors.
That's a culture.
Education Secretary Linda McMahon said it plainly at the time: "Alarmingly, many of these advocates of political violence are teachers, professors and administrators at our schools and universities – leaders who are entrusted with shaping the character of the next generation."
She was talking about Charlie Kirk then. She's talking about Corrine Baum now.
The Left built a permission structure for hating Trump so intensely that violence feels justified – or at minimum, disappointing when it fails.
They built it on late-night television, in faculty lounges, in Democrat stump speeches where the word "fascist" gets thrown around like punctuation.
BrightPath fired Baum in one day.
The people who created her still have network deals.
