Karine Jean-Pierre is in her final 70 days as White House Press Secretary.
Jean-Pierre is determined to go out in a comedy of errors.
And Karine Jean-Pierre pitched a fit when Fox News confronted her over this lie.
Fox News reporter grills Jean-Pierre over Democrat lies about Trump
Joe Biden slimed Donald Trump as a fascist and smeared his supporters as “garbage.”
Yet two days after the election, Joe Biden addressed the nation and told Americans that there would be a peaceful transfer of power and that he would invite Trump to the White House.
Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich grilled Jean-Pierre about how Biden could tell Americans it was no big deal that Trump would be taking power if the Democrat Party’s closing message of the campaign was Trump is Hitler reincarnated.
“This administration messaged to millions of Americans that they’re going to wake up day after the election if Trump won and have their rights stripped away, that democracy would crumble. And the president said today, ‘we’re going to be okay.’” Heinrich asked “So how do you square it?”
Jean-Pierre immediately turned the volume up to 11, confronting Heinrich over a basic question that many Americans would like to get an answer to.
“I can square that. I’m going to square that in a way that hopefully makes sense because I’ve been answering this question multiple times,” Jean-Pierre began.
Jean-Pierre claimed that the election happened and the voters picked Trump so Biden would respect the process.
“The American people made the decision. There was an election two nights ago. There was! And it was a free and fair election and we respect the election process. We do. And Americans spoke. And so the job of the president is to make sure we respect that,” Jean-Pierre added.
But that answer didn’t really make sense.
If Trump really is Hitler, who planned to turn the military on his political opponents and throw millions of Americans in concentration camps, then Biden shouldn’t respect the results of the election.
Jean-Pierre and Biden are respecting the results because they know the “Trump is Hitler” talk was just a campaign scare tactic and no one actually believed it was true.
“The job of the President is to make sure that we have a peaceful transfer of power. That is what the American people deserve. And that’s what we’re going to-, it’s really, it’s not complicated. It’s truly, truly as simple as that,” Jean-Pierre stated.
A follow-up question causes Jean-Pierre to storm out of the briefing room
Heinrich asked the natural follow-up question – if Jean-Pierre and Biden didn’t really believe Trump was a fascist, what is their message to the millions of Americans who bought into their lies?
“What is the message to people who are fearful based on what the messaging was about [Trump]?” Heinrich asked.
Jean-Pierre blew her top and began ranting and raving about Heinrich’s supposed dishonesty and disrespect.
“Well, now you’re just twisting everything around and that’s really unfair. No, it is. No, no, no, Jackie, it’s unfair because I’ve been standing here trying to be very respectful to what happened the last two nights, two nights ago. Being respectful,” Jean-Pierre snarled.
Jean-Pierre kept trying to say it squared the logical circle by claiming Joe Biden respected the process by which the American people restored a man Biden allegedly believes is Hitler.
“I’ve been standing here saying that we respect the decision that the American people made. I’ve been standing here and saying that the president’s going to put the American people first. I’ve been standing here talking about how the president’s going to make sure that they get what they deserve, which is a peaceful transfer of power,” Jean-Pierre ranted.
Jean-Pierre let the frustration of losing the election show before she hurled one more personal attack at Heinrich before storming out of the briefing room.
“I do not appreciate having my words twisted. That is-, I am being very clear, very, very, very clear about what the president wants to do and the vice president. We want to make sure that we deliver for the American people. They deserve, they deserve a peaceful transfer of power. And that’s what you’re going to see,” Jean-Pierre concluded.
