Kamala Harris told one big lie to voters in a swing state that will haunt her

Kamala Harris tried to reinvent herself as a moderate.

But she can’t keep her story straight on what she believes.

And Kamala Harris told one big lie to voters in a swing state that will haunt her.

Kamala Harris’ lies are starting to catch up with her

Pennsylvania is the center of the political universe in this election.

It’s the most important swing state this year with its 19 Electoral votes.

The winner of Pennsylvania will have the inside track on winning the election.

Fracking is the hot-button issue in the state this election.

Pennsylvania has undergone an energy boom in the last decade after fracking turned it into the second-largest natural gas producer in the country behind Texas.

The Marcellus Shale Coalition found that fracking supports more than 120,000 jobs in Pennsylvania and generates more than $40 billion a year of economic activity.

Vice President Kamala Harris was a warrior for the Green New Deal and banning fracking until she started running for President in July.

Now, she conveniently claims that she no longer supports a ban on fracking now that she needs to win Pennsylvania.

But she’s struggling to explain her sudden reversal on the issue.

Kamala stumbles trying to answer a question about fracking

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign has been hammering Kamala in Pennsylvania over her support for a fracking ban.

She appeared on Pittsburgh CBS affiliate KDKA-TV where reporter Jon Delano asked her about one of the campaign ads being run attacking her on fracking.

“The ad claims that if you are elected President you will ban fracking and cost Pennsylvania over 300,000 jobs,” Delano said. “Have you changed your view on fracking, and if so, why?”

“So let me start by saying that that ad as you described it is absolutely a mischaracterization which I think is intended to make people afraid,” Harris replied.

She may claim it’s a “mischaracterization” and a scare tactic, but there’s plenty of video of her calling for a fracking ban.

“There’s no question that I’m in favor of banning fracking,” Kamala said at a 2019 CNN town hall.

Kamala was a sponsor of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) Green New Deal in the Senate, which would make it illegal to use fossil fuels.

She never explains why she changed her mind on banning fracking.

Kamala tells voters to trust her that she won’t do it.

The Vice President claimed ads attacking her, with footage of her calling for a fracking ban, were misleading.

“I will not ban fracking. I did not as Vice President. In fact, I cast the tie-breaking vote to open up more fracking leases,” Harris claimed. “And my perspective on this is grounded in a number of things, including that we don’t have to ban fracking to do the work that we can do to also invest in a clean energy economy.”

President Joe Biden has used executive orders and federal action to restrict new oil and gas leases on federal land.

Kamala Harris wants voters to think she turned over a new leaf on fracking when she started running for President in July.
