Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are engaged in the first sparring match as Presidential nominees of their respective parties.
It’s not going well at all for Harris.
And Kamala Harris stepped in it with an awful challenge to Donald Trump.
Donald Trump says Kamala Harris needs to negotiate her own debate agreement
Donald Trump and Joe Biden had an agreement in place for a debate on September 10.
But Joe Biden quit the race.
That fact, as well as a judge allowing Donald Trump’s defamation suit against ABC to move forward, led Trump to announce that the deal for a September 10 debate was no longer in effect.
“The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant, and I am in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, thereby creating a conflict of interest,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Since Democrats replaced Biden with a new ticket led by Kamala Harris, Trump argued Harris would have to negotiate a new debate deal.

The Harris campaign throws a temper tantrum
Harris’ campaign put out a statement admitting she was scared to take questions on Fox News.
“Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out,” the statement read.
Harris demanded Trump show up to a debate he agreed to even though the candidate Trump agreed to debate was no longer in the race.
“He needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on Sept 10. The Vice President will be there one way or the other to take the opportunity to speak to a prime time national audience,” the statement added.
The Harris statement claimed they would be open to more debates, but only after the ABC debate took place.
“We’re happy to discuss further debates after the one both campaigns have already agreed to,” the statement continued.
“Mr. Anytime, anywhere, anyplace should have no problem with that unless he’s too scared to show up on the 10th,” the statement concluded.
Conservatives mock Harris’ transparent ploy
Kamala Harris can’t speak coherently without the benefit of a teleprompter.
Harris will launch into one of the word salads unless she can read off a carefully prepared script.
And Harris is clearly counting on the liberals at ABC to rig the debate for her, which is why she won’t take questions from real journalists like Fox News’ Martha MacCallum and Bret Baier.
Conservatives also pointed out that if Harris is going to be a stickler about attending debates you already committed to, Harris should show up for the debate she agreed to with Trump’s running mate J.D. Vance.
