FEMA broke after funneling money to illegal aliens
Hurricane Helene cut a path of destruction across the southeast after it made landfall in Florida.
The storm killed more than 230 people and is estimated to have done more than $35 billion in damage across six states.
Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee received record rainfall from Helene that created historic floods that washed away entire towns.
Atlantic hurricane season runs until the end of November.
Hurricane Milton slammed into Florida a little over a week after Helene hit.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned the public that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) would run out of money before the end of hurricane season.
“We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting,” Mayorkas said. “FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.”
Congress will have to send additional funding to FEMA, but that’s after the agency was deployed by the Biden-Harris administration to help illegal aliens they welcomed into the country.
FEMA has spent more than $1 billion over the past two years providing shelter, food, and transportation to illegal aliens.
The agency’s Emergency Food and Shelter Program and Shelter and Services Program Awards funneled money to communities across the country to deal with the fallout from record illegal immigration.
Congress can use money allocated to Ukraine to help Americans
Representative Matt Rosendale (R-MT) said that taxpayer funding for Ukraine could be redirected by Congress to FEMA during an appearance on the Just the News, No Noise podcast.
“We can take those funds that have been earmarked for Ukraine, and we can direct that into FEMA and specifically say it is to be used for providing emergency services for the people that have just suffered during this hurricane,” Rosendale explained.
Rosendale said that funding allocated to Ukraine could be spent in the southeast rebuilding after the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene.
He added that the government could take care of this quickly if it wanted to.
“The federal government only does things fast when they choose to do so,” Rosendale said.
The federal government is giving victims of Helene a measly one-time payment of $750, if they apply for it and qualify.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris sent enough money to Ukraine since the country’s war with Russia began in 2022 to give every resident of the country more than $6,000.
Former President Donald Trump slammed Kamala for giving FEMA’s money away to illegal aliens.
“Kamala spent all her FEMA money, billions of dollars, on housing for illegal migrants, many of whom should not be in our country,” Trump said at a rally in Michigan. “They stole the FEMA money, just like they stole it from a bank, so they could give it to their illegal immigrants that they want to have vote for them this season.”
