Kamala Harris Flew Back to Michigan to Stump for the DSA Darling Who Just Wiped His Social Media Clean

Sep 20, 2026

Kamala Harris lost Michigan to Donald Trump – and now she's back to drag it further Left.

Next Tuesday she'll stand next to the Democrat Senate nominee with a decade of socialist orbit behind him.

And Kamala Harris flew back to Michigan to stump for the DSA darling who just wiped his social media clean.

The DSA's Favorite Doctor

Between 2017 and 2020, Abdul El-Sayed attended and spoke at six Democratic Socialists of America events.

He headlined a DSA fundraiser in 2019 that raised $10,000 for the organization.

At that event, DSA organizers called him "a longtime friend of Detroit DSA."

He was photographed smiling behind a table displaying a poster of a hand labeled "DSA" choking a snake labeled "capitalism."

Now he tells reporters he's "not technically or practically DSA" and insists he believes in capitalism.

He just believes capitalism needs to be regulated.

Every radical who's ever wanted to dismantle the system has said something almost exactly like that.

The entire Squad endorsed him – AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and five others – each one carrying their own history of DSA ties.

Bernie Sanders held a rally for him in Detroit and Elizabeth Warren endorsed him outright.

He campaigned alongside Hasan Piker, the Twitch streamer who said "America deserved 9/11."

When Rogers called that out, El-Sayed accused him of Islamophobia.

Kamala Harris Calls This Man Bold

When Harris endorsed El-Sayed after his August primary win, she didn't hedge.

She said he offers "bold solutions" for working families and praised him for understanding "that the power is with the people."

Bold solutions – the same phrase socialists have used for a century to describe plans that have failed everywhere they've been tried.

El-Sayed's agenda calls for Medicare for All, canceling medical and student debt, defunding police, and abolishing ICE.

He wiped social media posts pushing those positions the moment he realized Michigan general-election voters might see them.

Rogers isn't letting it go quietly.

"They believe that they can move the state and the country, by the way, to be more accepting of this socialism," Rogers told Breitbart News, calling El-Sayed the "Democratic Socialists of America darling right now" and the race "crazy versus common sense."

A Fox News poll has Rogers leading 51 to 47.

The Detroit News and WDIV survey puts it 45.8 Rogers to 44.4 El-Sayed.

Every number shows Michigan voters are not sold on what Harris is selling.

Schumer Tried to Stop Him and Lost

Chuck Schumer backed the moderate, Haley Stevens.

Stevens lost by less than one percentage point.

The DSA wing of the party beat the establishment – and now the establishment is being dragged along behind them.

She lost Michigan to Trump in 2024.

The White House already told you what they think of her return.

Steven Cheung, Trump's communications director, said Harris "should really re-evaluate her life choices before running for president again."

She's heading back in anyway – to campaign for a man who posed for photos behind a sign celebrating the choking of capitalism.

Harris didn't choose El-Sayed because she believes in him.

She's there because the party's socialist base now holds enough power to force a failed presidential candidate back onto the trail to rescue a candidate the party's own leadership tried to stop.

Michigan voters watching this should ask themselves one thing: if El-Sayed wins, who exactly sent him there?
