The Democrat Party quickly united behind Kamala Harris as their presumptive nominee for President.
Harris made her first foray onto the campaign trial.
And Kamala Harris began cackling when she heard these three words.
Harris’ first rally ends in controversy
Hillary Clinton famously never visited Wisconsin during her campaign against Donald Trump.
To make people forget she ran a bad campaign, Clinton plunged America into an ongoing eight-year long cold war by initiating the Russia collusion hoax, a scheme that poisoned American politics to this day.
Harris was determined not to make that mistake, and her first rally, after the Democrat Party anointed her the presumptive nominee without one vote being cast, was in Wisconsin.
A small crowd of 3,000 people packed into a high school gym to hear Harris deliver her standard stump speech.
Democrats still think lawfare is a thing and Harris telegraphed that she intended to make the sham conviction won by Alvin Bragg a centerpiece of her campaign.
“I was elected attorney general of the state of California and I was a courtroom prosecutor before then,” Harris began.
“And in those roles I took on perpetrators of all kinds — predators who abused women, fraudsters who ripped off consumers, cheaters who broke the rules for their own gain,” Harris continued.
“So hear me when I say I know Donald Trump’s type,” Harris concluded.
At that point the crowd began chanting “lock him up.”Â

And Harris burst out in her trademark cackle.
The media claimed “lock her up” chants at Trump rallies during the campaign were signs of rising authoritarianism on the Right.
Journalists went right along as Harris played them for laughs.

Harris’ strange behavior and her laugh are really all that Americans know about her at the moment.
But Americans not liking you for personal reasons is harder for a politician to overcome than policy defects.
A candidate can always recalibrate their rhetoric or their issue portfolio to alleviate attacks on them for their policy positions.
What’s harder to change is the personal perception voters have of a candidate.
Before Joe Biden quit the race, Harris was viewed as cringe and an embarrassment, even by many Democrats.
Now the press and Democrats are going to present Harris as the second coming of Barack Obama, JFK, and FDR all rolled into one.
But the American people’s first impression of Kamala Harris as a national figure – her failed Presidential campaign and tenure as Vice President – wasn’t a positive one.
Now Harris is trying to reintroduce herself to the voters.
And the outcome of this race likely hinges on what impression of Harris sticks with voters.
