Vanessa Trump has been fighting breast cancer since May.
Now her 19-year-old daughter is turning that fight into action.
Kai Trump just dropped a new merchandise collection – and part of every sale goes straight to breast cancer research.
From the Sidelines to the Fight
Kai Trump knows exactly what it looks like when a family rallies around someone they love.
When Vanessa revealed her diagnosis, she said she was "staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family."
That love had a face.
Kai – the eldest of Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr.'s five children – stepped up without being asked.
The kids divided up the household responsibilities, kept the stress off their mother, and made sure she never felt like she was carrying it alone.
"She always really took care of her five kids," Kai told Fox News Digital. "And then going through the treatment, we all had to step in and help out."
By June, Vanessa had come through surgery and was moving into the second stage of treatment.
The road is still long.
Kai isn't pretending otherwise.
"It's always going to be up and down and kind of all over the place," she said. "But just be there for your family member – be there as support and just spend time with them."
A Brand Built on Family
Kai's apparel shop launched in September 2025 with a line of KT-branded crew neck sweatshirts.
The line sold.
Her friends wore it.
And she kept building.
Wednesday's summer drop adds tank tops, sweaters, bags and hats to the collection.
"We're pretty much covering every single category," Kai said.
But this collection carries something the first one didn't.
A portion of every sale goes directly to breast cancer causes – because Kai watched her mother go through treatment and decided she wasn't going to just watch.
"Hearing her go through treatment and then obviously being with her through the treatments," Kai said, "I just want to give back and give money back to breast cancer."
The Bigger Picture
Kai Trump is not your typical 19-year-old college freshman.
She's a competitive golfer who just started her freshman year at the University of Miami – where Trump Doral sits right down the road, a detail her grandfather loved when she picked the school.
She's the President's granddaughter.
And right now, with all of that going on, the most important thing in her world is her mom getting better.

That's the part she wants other young people to understand – the ones watching a parent go through treatment while college and careers and life keep moving forward without asking permission.
"The advice I'd give is just spend time with them, be there for them," Kai said. "It's a long journey."
Most 19-year-olds with her platform would be posting workout videos and cashing brand deals.
Kai Trump is using hers to raise money for breast cancer research – because her mom needed her, and she showed up.
It takes a certain kind of character to turn private pain into something that helps strangers.
She's 19.
And she already has it.
