Senate Democrats dragged their woke witnesses into another abortion hearing this week.
The Left keeps pushing biological lies that voters reject.
And Josh Hawley asked one simple question that made this doctor squirm.
Senate hearing doctor refuses to answer: Can men get pregnant?
Dr. Nisha Verma appeared before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on Wednesday to defend abortion pills.
Republicans called the hearing to expose the dangers of mifepristone and telehealth abortions that allow men to coerce women.
Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Senator Ashley Moody (R-FL) asked Verma a basic biology question that any middle schooler could answer.
Can men get pregnant?
Verma refused to give a straight answer.
"I hesitated there because I wasn't sure where the conversation was going or what the goal was," Verma said after Moody first asked the question.
She rambled about treating "patients with different identities" instead of answering yes or no.
Hawley jumped in and asked her point-blank.
"Well, the goal is the truth, so can men get pregnant?" Hawley demanded.
Verma kept dodging.
She accused Hawley of trying to "polarize" the issue and refused to acknowledge basic biological reality.
Hawley's pattern: Exposing biological reality at Senate hearings
Hawley has been forcing leftist witnesses to confront their own insanity on this issue for years.
Back in 2022, he had an identical exchange with Berkeley Law Professor Khiara Bridges during a hearing about Roe v. Wade.
Bridges used the phrase "people with a capacity for pregnancy" and Hawley asked if she meant women.
She accused him of being "transphobic" and claimed his questions would lead to violence against transgender people.
Hawley told Verma he wasn't trying to create controversy.
"I'm not trying to be polarizing," Hawley said.
"I think it is extraordinary that we are here in a hearing about science and about women — and for the record, it's women who get pregnant, not men."
The Missouri Senator pointed out the obvious.
If Verma can't acknowledge that only women get pregnant, how can anyone trust her judgment on abortion pill safety?
Mail-order abortion pills enable coercion, Republicans warn
The hearing was supposed to focus on how telehealth abortions make it easier for abusive men to force women into ending pregnancies.
Senator Moody described how one of her staff members used the name "Michael" and made it to the final stage of ordering abortion pills online.
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill testified about prosecuting a case where a mother coerced her 16-year-old daughter into an abortion at 20 weeks — well beyond the 10-week limit the FDA claims is safe.
The pills were ordered online with no in-person screening.
Senator Husted, who was adopted, testified about cases in Ohio where men literally forced abortion pills down women's throats.
Republicans want to restore the requirement that women see a doctor in person before getting mifepristone.
Democrats like Verma oppose any restrictions at all.
They're more worried about using gender-neutral language than protecting women from violence.
Hawley exposed that priority with one simple question Verma still won't answer.
