The Democrat Party spent a decade calling men the problem.
Now one of their own senators went on national television and confirmed exactly what you already knew.
And what he said has Democrats scrambling for an explanation they don't have.
The Confession That Changes Everything
John Fetterman sat down on Real Time with Bill Maher and said the quiet part out loud.
"Part of the Democratic Party became more and more anti-men – describing that they were part of the problem, or they have toxic traits," Fetterman told Maher in front of a national audience.
He didn't stop there.
That's why there's been a massive migration away from the Democrat Party among young men, Fetterman said – and a big part of why they lost in 2024.
A sitting Democrat senator – on a liberal comedian's show – told the entire country his party drove men away by treating them like the enemy.
Not a Republican.

Not a conservative pundit.
"I've witnessed that migration away from the Democratic Party starting back in 2016," Fetterman said. "We really have to find a way to bring them back and make better arguments without blaming them or describing they are the problem."
The Numbers Prove Fetterman Right
This wasn't just Fetterman venting.
The data firm Catalist confirmed Democrat support among young men aged 18 to 29 dropped from 55% in 2020 to 46% in 2024 – an 18-point net swing toward Trump.
Read that again.
Former Biden voters in post-election focus groups said the Democrat Party had become the anti-male party – and that the Harris campaign had simply abandoned young men.
These weren't Republicans saying this.

These were men who voted Democrat four years earlier explaining why they left.
Democrats Still Don't Get It
Here's the part that tells you everything about where the Democrat Party stands today.
While Fetterman admitted the truth on live television, Donna Brazile – a Democrat strategist who has spent decades inside the party – responded by telling men what she really thinks of them.
"I think they don't know their place anymore," Brazile said. On air.
That is the Democrat Party in 2026.
The senator who finally admitted the problem is considered a dissident.
The party operative who proved the point in real time with a single sentence faces zero consequences.
Fetterman told Maher he feels "lonely" inside his own party – and Maher said he shares that feeling exactly.
That's not a messaging problem.
That's a collapse.

The union men Fetterman talked about – the guys your grandfather voted Democrat his whole life for – they're gone.
They watched the Democrat Party replace them with a coalition that called their values toxic, their instincts dangerous, and their masculinity a problem to be managed.
Trump saw it.
He ran toward those men.
Democrats called them deplorable.
Now Fetterman's sitting on a late-night couch admitting the whole strategy was a disaster – and the people who built that strategy are still running the party.
That's the real story. Not that Democrats lost men.
That they still don't care.
