Joe Biden’s rarely been seen in public since dropping out of the Presidential race.
According to Axios, Biden hasn’t held public events on 43 of the 75 days since ending his re-election bid on July 21.
That’s why it was so odd that with just weeks left in the Presidential Election, Biden picked this critical moment to show up in the White House press briefing room and take questions from reporters for the first time during his term in office.
One reporter asked Biden about Kamala Harris’ level of involvement in managing the botched response to Hurricane Helene and the bungling in foreign policy that enabled Iran and its terrorist proxies to threaten a wider war with Israel.
“There have obviously been a number of crises that the country has been facing over the past several days with the hurricane, with port strike, with the situation in the Middle East. Can you talk about how your vice president, who is running for the presidency, has worked on these crises and what role she has played over the past several days?” the reporter wondered.
Donald Trump couldn’t have scripted a better answer than the one Biden proceeded to deliver.
Biden told Americans that Kamala Harris was directly responsible for the spending bills that spurred the inflation crisis and that she’s 100 percent in lockstep with Biden on every issue.
“Well, she’s— I’m in constant contact with her. She’s aware of where — we all — we’re singing from the same song sheet. We — she helped pass the l- — all the laws that are being employed now. She was a major player in everything we’ve done, including passage of legislation, which we were told we could never pass. And so, she’s been — and her — her staff is interlocked with mine in terms of all the things we’re doing,” Biden declared.
Republicans celebrate
The 2024 election is a change election.
Joe Biden just rendered Kamala Harris the candidate of the status quo.
The economy and inflation are the biggest issues for voters and Joe Biden told Americans that if they are mad at either one, they can take their anger out on Kamala Harris.
CNN commentator and Republican strategist Scott Jennings wondered if Biden intentionally tried to destroy Kamala Harris’ campaign.
“He is literally trying to destroy her campaign and it’s just incredible,” Jennings posted on X.
