Laken Riley went jogging and never came home.
Now Carmen Lizet Puch did the same thing – stabbed to death in a Fairfax County park, leaving behind a young daughter.
The man police arrested for her murder was handed to American streets by Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas.
Biden and Mayorkas Put Him Here
Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos, a 19-year-old Salvadoran national, was caught at the border in El Paso in April 2024.
Biden's DHS caught him and released him anyway.
He ended up in Fairfax County, Virginia – one of the wealthiest suburbs in America, a place where a 42-year-old mother named Carmen Puch worked at a restaurant to support her young daughter and jogged near a park trail on Monday morning.
A jogger found Puch unconscious just off the trail at Difficult Run Park in Great Falls.
She had trauma to her upper body.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.

DHS put it plainly: "Biden and Mayorkas hand-delivered alleged killer Cedillos-Campos to the streets of Fairfax County."
The agency added that the Biden administration "recklessly unleashed millions of unvetted illegal aliens into American communities and abused the law to do so."
White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis was even more direct: "This brutal killing of this mother was 100% preventable."
This Is Not a Coincidence – It Is a Policy
Laken Riley jogged at the University of Georgia in February 2024.
Jose Ibarra – a Venezuelan national caught and released by Biden – hunted her down, crushed her skull with a rock, and left her body in the woods.
Rachel Morin was raped and murdered on a jogging trail in Maryland.
Kayla Hamilton was strangled with a phone-charging cord in her bedroom in Aberdeen, Maryland, while calling her boyfriend for help.
Every one of them was killed by someone Biden released.
The House Judiciary Committee reviewed Ibarra's immigration file and found that Biden's DHS released him into the country one day after catching him – because it determined his release was "warranted."

Former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott described Biden's vetting process as the equivalent of checking people against a blank sheet of paper.
As of July 2024, the House Homeland Security Committee confirmed that nearly 650,000 criminal illegal aliens were roaming free in American communities – including roughly 15,000 individuals convicted of or charged with murder.
Those are not mistakes.
Those are choices.
Spanberger Made Virginia a Killing Field
Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger made sure that even when Biden's releases reached her state, the system had no way to stop what came next.
On her first day in office, Spanberger revoked Glenn Youngkin's executive order that had Virginia law enforcement cooperating with ICE.
She banned state and local agencies from honoring ICE detainers.
She barred ICE from using state property for operations.
DHS has now documented 17 serious crimes by illegal aliens in Virginia in 2026 alone – nine of them in Fairfax County.
Three of the four murder suspects in Fairfax County this year are illegal aliens.
In 2025, Fairfax County refused to honor an ICE detainer for Marvin Fernando Morales-Ortez – a Salvadoran illegal alien arrested for assault and brandishing a firearm.
ICE asked the county to hold him.
The county said no.
Within a day of his release, Morales-Ortez shot and killed a man in a Reston home.
Spanberger still hasn't reversed her sanctuary policies.

When reporters asked her directly whether she would, she ignored the questions and walked away.
Carmen Puch's daughter doesn't get to walk away from anything.
The Pattern Republicans Saw Coming
Sen. Lindsey Graham warned in November 2024 – after Laken Riley's killer was convicted – that Biden's parole system was "a lethal disaster for the American people" and that its consequences would keep arriving long after Biden left office.
He was right.
Congress passed the Laken Riley Act – requiring ICE detention of illegal aliens who commit theft – as the first bill Trump signed into law.
DHS has since arrested more than 17,500 criminal illegal aliens under its provisions.
Trump has achieved 15 consecutive months of zero catch-and-release at the border.
The murder in Fairfax County on Monday was committed by a man Biden released in 2024 – before Trump's policies took effect.
The difference between Biden's America and Trump's America is Carmen Puch – still alive, still working at that restaurant, still raising her daughter – versus what her daughter woke up to this week.
Democrats will call this political exploitation.
But the only people doing the exploiting were Biden and Mayorkas – exploiting a system designed to protect Americans, converting it into a pipeline that delivered killers into neighborhoods like Fairfax County.
Now a little girl has no mother.
