Eric Swalwell just resigned from Congress in disgrace after multiple women accused him of rape.
Swalwell launched his California governor's campaign on Jimmy Kimmel's show.
Now find out what Kimmel was busy celebrating this week instead.
Kimmel Called Assaulting Federal Officers a Nice Harmless Protest
On Wednesday night, Kimmel used his Jimmy Kimmel Live monologue to applaud what he described as a "nice and harmless way" to resist Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
He was talking about throwing rubber sex toys at federal officers.
"In February, the protesters in Minneapolis held an event called Operation Dildo Blitz," Kimmel told his audience. "They brought a battalion of rubber sex toys. Sometimes you have to fight dildos with dildos."

Nice and harmless.
Six people were arrested in Los Angeles that same week for throwing those devices at ICE officers.
Solid rubber sex toys are heavy enough to break car windows.
They can cause serious injury if they strike an officer in the face or head.
In Minneapolis, protesters using those devices accidentally injured one of their own.
In Los Angeles and Portland, the dildo blitzes ran alongside the standard anti-ICE playbook — rushing law enforcement, blockading vehicles, physically harassing officers executing legal federal warrants.
These are not people holding signs.
These are people committing obstruction of federal law enforcement, and a late-night host with millions of viewers just handed them a national endorsement and called it comedy.
The Swalwell Silence That Says Everything About Jimmy Kimmel
Kimmel had one other thing to say this week.
He appeared on Michelle Obama's podcast and lectured Trump voters about Christianity.
"The cardinal rule of MAGA is to never admit when you are wrong," Kimmel said on the podcast. "It's the opposite of Christianity. I mean, it's the basis of the whole faith, you know, is asking for forgiveness. And that seems to be cast aside."

The same Jimmy Kimmel who sat next to Eric Swalwell and handed him a platform to launch a governor's campaign.
Months later, multiple women accused Swalwell of unwanted sexual advances and rape.
Swalwell resigned in disgrace.
Kimmel said nothing.
The man who spent years positioning himself as America's moral referee — crying about healthcare, lecturing on women's rights, treating every Trump appointment as a sign of the apocalypse — went completely silent when the accusations against the man he hosted came out.
That's not an oversight. That's a reveal.
What Kimmel Actually Did Wednesday Night
ICE officers are enforcing federal law passed by Congress.
Every person blockading, assaulting, or obstructing an ICE officer is committing a federal crime.
Kimmel didn't mention that.
What he did was point an audience that already despises law enforcement toward a specific tactic that has produced real arrests and real injuries — and frame it as charming civic resistance.
That's not comedy.
That's instruction with a laugh track.
And here's what's most infuriating: Kimmel will never face a single consequence for it.
He'll be back on that couch tomorrow calling MAGA voters bad Christians, Swalwell's accusers will keep waiting for the apology that never comes, and the next ICE officer who takes a rubber device to the face will be covered by every outlet Kimmel respects as a story about brave protesters resisting fascism.
The left doesn't have a late-night problem.
They have an accountability problem.
Kimmel is the proof.
