The Biden family’s time in the White House is winding down.
But they hoped to go out on a high note.
And Jill Biden got one brutal rejection from Kamala Harris that left her fuming.
Kamala Harris rejects Joe Biden’s help in the closing days of the race
It appeared to be an all-hands-on deck moment for the Democrat Party to get Vice President Kamala Harris across the finish line on Election Day.
Former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton have their busiest campaign schedules since the last time they ran for office.
Two-time failed Democrat Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has shown up on cable news to make the case for Kamala.
But one of the biggest names in the party is nowhere to be found in the final sprint to Election Day.
President Joe Biden is sitting on the sideline while his party has everyone helping to get Kamala elected.
He’s left days open on his calendar, but the call from her campaign has never come.
A report from Axios revealed that it was an intentional decision by the Kamala campaign.
Biden was told that the campaign would get back to him about having him hit the trail.
“Harris’ team believes Biden is a political liability at a crucial time in the campaign — but is reluctant to directly say they don’t want him to campaign for her,” Axios’ Alex Thompson reported.
More than 60% of voters in polling say that the country is on the wrong track.
Kamala has been criticized by Democrats for not doing enough to distance herself from Biden’s policies.
She’s refused to say what she would do differently when asked point-blank in interviews.
Biden campaigning for her would be another reminder to voters that she’s connected to him at the hip.
“He’s a reminder of the last four years, not the new way forward,” a source told Axios.
Joe Biden’s mental decline could be causing heartburn
Tensions are rising between the Biden and Kamala camps in the final days of the election.
Kamala’s campaign believes that decisions being made by the White House aren’t taking into consideration her Presidential campaign.
“The White House is lacking someone in the room thinking first and foremost about how things would affect the campaign,” a source within the Kamala campaign told Axios.
Kamala’s campaign is unhappy with some of the messaging coming out of the White House.
Biden held his first press conference in the White House briefing room of his Presidency, which resulted in cable news networks pulling their coverage of a Kamala campaign rally in Michigan.
The President also took the side of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a feud between him and Kamala over the response to Hurricane Helene.
But the real concern from Kamala’s campaign could be about Biden’s declining mental state.
Biden recently appeared in Concord, New Hampshire, to tout his work on lowering prescription prices when he made an alarming gaffe about former President Donald Trump.
“He thinks he has a version of the Supreme Court ruling on immunity to be able to, if need be, if it was the case, to actually eliminate, physically eliminate, shoot, kill someone who is, he believes to be a threat to him,” Biden ranted.
“We got to lock him up,” Biden blurted out.
He let the truth slip that he wanted to throw Trump in jail.
Joe Biden is going to be a problem for Kamala Harris whether he’s on the campaign trail or not.
