And now Jill Biden forced Joe Biden to sign one piece of paper that changed everything.
Jill Biden pressured Joe Biden into pardoning Hunter Biden
Joe Biden stunned the political world with a late-night pardon of Hunter Biden.
Biden issued his son a blanket pardon going back to 2014 for all crimes he may have committed.
In his statement announcing the pardon, Biden admitted that granting Hunter Biden clemency was about closing down any future investigations into Hunter Biden’s foreign lobbying that could tie him to criminal activity.
“There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough,” Biden stated.
Biden also falsely claimed that politics dictated his son facing criminal charges when the only reason Hunter Biden stood trial was because a judge saw the Biden Justice Department trying to grant Hunter Biden lifetime immunity through a sweetheart plea deal was unconstitutional.
“Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice,” Biden added.
Biden spent months claiming he wasn’t going to pardon Hunter Biden.
But then something changed.
And CNN’s Jeff Zeleny reported that Jill Biden twisted Joe Biden’s arm into issuing the pardon for Hunter Biden.
“Clearly there was pressure inside the family,” Zeleny reported.
“We were told really in recent weeks that Dr. Jill Biden – First Lady Jill Biden – was very supportive of the President doing something like this,” Zeleny continued.
Zeleny revealed that Joe Biden “was not sure” about granting a pardon for Hunter Biden, but that his wife pressured him into going back on his word not to pardon his son.
Jill Biden later defended the pardon at a White House Christmas event.
“Of course, I support the pardon of my son,” Jill Biden said when asked by reporters if she agreed with Joe Biden’s decision to pardon Hunter.
Joe Biden ran for re-election largely at the insistence of Jill Biden.
Jill Biden also reportedly was the main driver of Biden’s desire to stay in the race following the June 27 debate.
Joe Biden is clearly no longer in control of his mental faculties.
So it should come as no surprise that Jill Biden played the decisive role in Biden signing off on a pardon that will cement his legacy as the most corrupt President in American history.
But that leads to questions about what other decisions Jill Biden is making for Joe.
