Kamala Harris' handpicked running mate watched fraudsters steal hundreds of millions meant to feed children – and had the nerve to take a bow.
When the FBI raided dozens of Minneapolis businesses Tuesday, Walz posted on X claiming credit for the crackdown.
Then JD Vance went on national television and said something Walz cannot explain away.

"This is like the arsonist trying to claim credit for the work of the fire department," Vance told Will Cain on Fox News Wednesday, "because Tim Walz let this fraud happen under his watch – whether he was complicit in it directly himself or just turned a blind eye towards it."

FBI Director Kash Patel was more blunt.
"Come again?" Patel fired back on X after Walz's post. "This FBI and DOJ with our DHS partners drafted and executed every search warrant today. But go ahead and take credit for our work while we smoke out the fraud plaguing Minnesota under your governorship."
Vance denied Walz played any role in the crackdown.
"We really did not get much help at all from the governor's office," Vance said. "Where we did actually get some help was from some state local law enforcement officers who we assigned to the federal task force because the state government wasn't doing anything."
The raids targeted dozens of Minnesota businesses – including multiple childcare centers and the Quality Learning Center, infamously misspelled "Quality Learing Center" in its own signage.
Vance couldn't help himself.
"My own children will never be able to attend school at the 'Quality Learing Center,'" he said.

Minnesota Was the Fraud Capital of America and Walz Ran It
This isn't a new story.
It's the latest chapter in one of the most brazen fraud schemes in modern American history.
The Feeding Our Future scandal unfolded under Walz's watch – nonprofits tied to Somali-American organizations in Minneapolis stole at least $250 million from a federal pandemic childcare nutrition program.
Where did the money go?
Luxury cars. Overseas accounts.
And a market previously controlled by an al-Qaeda affiliate – a detail so alarming that federal prosecutors flagged it specifically in court filings.
The FBI indicted more than 70 people.
Federal prosecutors called it the largest pandemic relief fraud in American history.
Now there's more.
The U.S. Government Accountability Office found $186 billion in improper payments across 64 federal programs in fiscal year 2025 alone.

Vance, who serves as the administration's fraud czar, told Cain that Minneapolis is "the tip of the iceberg."
"This fraud ring that we've allowed to fester in this country defrauds the taxpayers," Vance said. "It also literally takes resources from the mouths of poor children."
The people doing the defrauding didn't just steal money.
"You have people who came into this country, many of them illegally, and six months later they're driving Mercedes despite the fact that they don't have a job," Vance said. "That doesn't happen without some defrauding of the American taxpayer."
Vance Is Looking at Minnesota Officials Next
The investigation isn't stopping at childcare centers.
Vance pledged that investigators will take a "hard look" at top Minnesota elected officials who may have known what was happening while it was happening.
"There were multiple Minnesota authorities who were turning a blind eye to this fraud," Vance said. "What we don't yet know is whether they knew it was going on as it was going on – but that's one of the things that we're looking at with these investigations."
Vance also told Fox News the administration is actively pursuing denaturalization and deportation for immigrants convicted of fraud.
"Absolutely," he said when asked. "The people who committed immigration fraud against our system – how do we denaturalize those people and send them back to where they came from."

He didn't.
Here's what that means going forward.
Vance just told you investigators are looking at Minnesota officials who may have known about this while it was happening.
That's not a vague threat – that's a prosecutor's roadmap.
If even one elected official in Minnesota knew $250 million was flowing to al-Qaeda-linked markets and said nothing, the political fallout makes the original fraud look like a warm-up act.
Democrats spent all of 2024 telling you Tim Walz was the competent one.

The guy who knew how to run things.
