Tim Allen's Last Man Standing got canceled despite monster ratings.
The only thing Allen did wrong was vote Republican.
Now Jay-Z is warning America about a "right-wing agenda" silencing voices – and somebody needs to ask him where he was for the last thirty years.
Jay-Z GQ Interview Blamed Conservatives While Hollywood Blacklisted Them for Decades
Jay-Z gave GQ his first major interview in nearly a decade this week, and somewhere between celebrating 30 years of Reasonable Doubt and complaining about Stan culture, he sent the magazine a text that said this: "There is clearly an agenda to silence voices in our community, a heavy right-wing agenda."
He was talking about social media fandoms tearing hip-hop apart.
About fans dragging artists' kids into beef that never ends. About the Kendrick-Drake war becoming something toxic and consuming.
All of that is real. But he blamed conservatives for it.

The same conservatives who spent twenty years watching Hollywood systematically cut out anyone who voted Republican.
The same right-wing America that sat silent as Tim Allen, Jon Voight, and Antonio Sabato Jr. each got the industry's message – lose the politics, or lose the work.
Sabato put it plainly to Variety after supporting Trump in 2016.
Every representative dropped him. Agents, managers, commercial agents – gone.
He sold everything, moved to Florida, and took construction work to keep his family fed.
That was happening while Jay-Z was running one of the most powerful entertainment companies in America.
The Hollywood Blacklist Conservatives Actually Lived Through
Last Man Standing – one of ABC's most-watched sitcoms – got axed in 2017 despite strong ratings.
Tim Allen had joked that being conservative in Hollywood felt like 1930s Germany. The show was gone within two months.
Fox picked it up and ran it for three more seasons, proving the audience was always there – the gatekeepers just didn't want it on their network.
Ben Shapiro spent years trying to break into Hollywood as a screenwriter before founding The Daily Wire.
He had a project and a legitimate producer. A TV agent called him with the verdict: blacklisted.
His politics made him unemployable before he ever got started.
Conservative actors quietly organized for years under a group called "Friends of Abe" – a private network where right-leaning artists could meet and share stories about professional discrimination without risking their careers.
They kept the membership secret. In America. Because being openly conservative in the industry meant losing work.
Jay-Z didn't text GQ about any of that.
Roc Nation Employees Have Been Describing This for Years
While Jay-Z warns about outside forces silencing voices, his own employees have spent years documenting what goes on inside his company.

The Glassdoor reviews are extensive and consistent.
Former employees describe a workplace where staff were berated and belittled regularly, where people were pushed out without explanation, and where raising concerns with HR made you a target rather than getting you help.
Multiple reviewers describe brutal hours, low pay, and a management culture built on fear of the Roc Nation name itself.
One candidate who interviewed for a role described meeting the person leaving the position – who opened by confirming that everything they'd heard about the toxicity was true, told them they would have no personal life if they took the job, and then went silent and never responded again.
Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, Jay-Z's co-founder, is named specifically across multiple reviews as the source of the dysfunction.
The man warning America about silenced voices runs a company where employees are afraid to speak up, afraid to push back, and afraid to stay.
He Looked Right Past the Real Story
Jay-Z is not naive.
He built a billion-dollar empire in an industry designed to own artists instead of making them owners.
That's exactly why this stings.
He watched the left run Hollywood for thirty years with zero competition – deciding what got made, who got hired, and whose career quietly disappeared.
That machine ran without a name or a protest. Nobody called it a silencing agenda.
Now that machine has competition. Conservative platforms are thriving. Conservative audiences have money and spend it.
The left's grip on culture is loosening – and Jay-Z just called that a conspiracy.
