James Carville helped Bill Clinton win the White House by telling the radical Left to take a hike.
Now the socialist wing of his own party is eating Democrats alive – and Carville just went nuclear trying to stop it.
What Carville admitted on camera about Bernie Sanders is the best news Republicans have heard all year.
Carville Drops the Bomb on His Own Party
The Ragin' Cajun did not hold back.
"These people are so f—ing stupid, I don't know what to say about it," Carville said Friday in a video posted to Politicon's YouTube channel.
He was reacting to a socialist wave that has swamped the Democrat Party from New York to Colorado.
Brad Lander – backed by socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani – knocked off Rep. Dan Goldman in New York's 10th District.
Socialist newcomer Darializa Avila Chevalier ousted Rep. Adriano Espaillat, the powerful chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, in another New York primary.
In Colorado, 29-year-old Democratic Socialists of America candidate Melat Kiros ended the career of 30-year incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette.
DSA candidates are also racking up wins in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Portland, and Seattle.

And now Michigan – a Senate battleground Democrats must hold to have any path to the majority – faces a primary between radical Abdul El-Sayed, backed by Bernie Sanders and AOC, and moderate Rep. Haley Stevens.
El-Sayed wants to abolish ICE, backs Medicare for All, and has called for cutting off all aid to Israel.
"Is their solution to beat Republicans, to run against Republicans? No!" Carville said. "Their solution is to beat Democrats like they're part of the problem."
Sanders Did This Once Already
Carville does not forget 2016.
He called Hillary Clinton's loss to Donald Trump "the most catastrophic event of this century" – and he blames Bernie Sanders for every bit of it.
"How did Trump win? I'll tell you how, because goddamn Bernie Sanders is the reason that Donald Trump is president," Carville said. "You hear me? Listen to me."
His argument is simple: Sanders spent months convincing blue-collar voters in the states Democrats cannot win without – Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin – that there was no real difference between the two parties.
Those voters believed him.
They stayed home, or they voted Trump, and the rest is history.

Now Sanders is running the same play – touring the country with Mamdani, filling an auditorium in Detroit for El-Sayed, and assembling the same coalition of ideological purists that cost Democrats the White House a decade ago.
Carville called Sanders an "insurgent" who is determined to drag the Democrat Party off a cliff.
And nobody in the party leadership has the spine to stop him.
Democrats Ran This Play in 1972 and Lost 49 States
Here is what James Carville will not say out loud – because saying it would be admitting his party is finished.
The last time socialists hijacked a major party primary and ran the table, the result was George McGovern in 1972.
McGovern lost 49 states to Richard Nixon.
He carried Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.
Nixon won over 60 percent of the popular vote in one of the largest landslides in American history.
What Carville is watching in 2026 is that same playbook running in slow motion – socialist candidates firing up the base in deep-blue urban districts while making the party completely unelectable in every state that actually matters.
Michigan is not New York City.
Democrats need to flip four Senate seats to take the majority – and they almost certainly cannot get there without holding the seat Gary Peters is vacating.
El-Sayed threatens to give that seat to Republicans before the general election even starts.
Carville saw it coming and said so.
The socialist wing heard him – and kept winning primaries anyway.
If El-Sayed takes Michigan in August, Republicans hold the Senate in November.
James Carville knows it.
He just cannot stop it.
